From the Pastor's Desk...

Reminder that we are having a Blue Christmas Worship Service at 6:30PM on December 21st. All are welcome.

This has been an interesting journey beginning the week before Thanksgiving. I had two heart surgeries before Thanksgiving and a third last Monday the 12th. I will have a 4th on January 5th, Hopefully this will correct the issues with my heart. I am doing well and will be participating in the Christmas festivities at Cumnock Union.

One thing that I have always known is that God walks with us on this journey called life. I have been blessed. Regardless of the day to day happenings, God sees us through and reminds us that He loves us. Knowing this brings a calmness to my life that I cannot explain. I rely on the fact that God has everything in His control. He has walked with my congregation, my family, and the doctors and staff that have cared for me.

All praise and thanksgiving are due to Him.

Looking forward to the children's Christmas program on December 24th at 6:30PM. Come join us.

From the Pastor’s Desk…

Just a quick note to everyone. We will be having a Blue Christmas Service on December 21 at 6:30PM. We will also have the children’s program on Christmas Eve at 6:30PM. There will be no service on Christmas Day as most will be enjoying Christmas with family and friends.

Take a moment this Advent season to continue in thanksgiving and praise for the abundance of gifts that we have received. Share with others the JOY, LOVE, HOPE, and PEACE that this season brings with the celebration of the birth of our Lord, Jesus the Christ.

From the Pastor's Desk...
This will be brief. I have been in the hospital for heart surgery. Am doing well. Will have additional surgery in the next couple of weeks. The Lord has been watching after me.

My messages for this next month will be brief and maybe on days other than Wednesday.

It is the season of Advent beginning this Sunday November 27th.

May your Thanksgiving be filled with gratitude and grace.
