2026 summer camp registration is now open! Register today at www.michiganyouthcamps.org!

Registration is now open for all Community of Christ sponsored summer camps at Sanford Campground including youth and family camps. View the camp schedule, details, and registration at www.michiganyouthcamps.org, deadline is June 1 for most camps.

Never sent your kid to camp before? We know it can be hard! Our staff and directors are extensively trained and receive background checks. All of our campgrounds and youth camps are licensed and receive inspections from the State of Michigan. You can learn more about us at www.cofchristmi.org and www.michiganyouthcamps.org.

Are you interested in staffing a youth camp? We are especially in need of male staff and camp nurses for the 2026 camp season. Please contact [email protected] to learn about the process of becoming registered to work within our youth camping program.

Are you a summer camp alumni? Consider making a donation to our camping program and help provide the life-changing experience for others. About $25 a month sponsors a new camper at a junior camp. Learn more about helping to fund youth camps at: https://michiganyouthcamps.org/donate/

Our amazing volunteers are hard at work making much-needed updates to the cooks’ quarters in the dining hall! While this is wonderful progress for the campground, it unfortunately means the space will not be available and the Advent Event scheduled for this weekend has been CANCELLED.

Sanford Community of Christ Campground loved being part of this fun community event and sharing smiles, candy, and a little camping spirit 🏕️🍫.

Alice was a beloved supporter of Sanford Campground throughout her life. Her faith, dedication, and love for this ministry left a lasting impact on our community. She believed deeply in the mission of this campground as a place where lives are touched, faith is nurtured, and Christian fellowship thrives.

Your contributions not only honor Alice’s memory, but also help us continue the work she cared so deeply about. We are humbled and grateful for your support during this time of remembrance, and we pray that her legacy will continue to bless others for generations to come.

🏕️ Volunteer Call: Help Prepare for Winter ❄️
We’re calling on volunteers of all ages and abilities to come together in fellowship and service as we prepare our beloved Sanford Campground for the winter season!🛠️.

These will be taking place during our open camping weekends! So come camp, lend a helping hand, and enjoy in fellowship. There are no camping fees for those volunteering.

There’s something for everyone—from light cleaning, organizing, and packing up gear to outdoor work like raking, winterizing cabins, and maintenance. Whether you can lend a hand for an hour or a full day, your help makes a huge difference!

Bring your friends, family, church group, or just yourself! Let’s serve together in this spirit-filled effort to care for the space that has blessed so many.

🧤 Please dress for the weather and bring any tools you think might be helpful (rakes, gloves, etc.).
