Join us this Sunday evening, December 22, at 5:00 p.m., for a service of Choral Evensong. The Youth Choir and Sinfonia will present Vivaldi's Gloria along with canticles by George Dyson and choral responses by Rachel Aarons. Choral evensong is a sung service of Evening Prayer which revolves around the Psalm of the day, Old Testament and New Testament scripture readings, the biblical canticles (the Magnificat of Mary from Luke 1 and Nunc Dimittis of Simeon from Luke 2), prayers, and a brief homily. The tradition of Evensong dates back to the time of the English Reformation and the publication of the Book of Common Prayer in 1549.

Don’t miss this recital on Sunday at 2:00 PM!

On Sunday August 25th at 2:00pm Drew Pace will present a recital of works for the organ, as well as Saint-Saens' Sonata for Clarinet and Piano. This free program will include organ works by Bach, Howells, Mendelssohn, Merkel, and Whitlock. All are welcome to attend.
