Pastor's Pondering
Across the land and around the world believers will gather to worship the King of kings and The Lord of lords. As one that stands on the platform looking out at the people, may I say somebody needs to tell your face. What would happen if we were as enthusiastic in the church house as we are at the ball games. As we gather this morning may we give our undivided attention to The Lord. May we come looking to grow in our Christian walk. May we truly worship the Lord today.
I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD!” Psalms 122:1

Pastor's Pondering
It seems like every time someone famous dies there are those who take the throne and "decide" if they went to heaven or hell. I see two problems with this. First, we are not the judge. Second, we can only see the outside, not what's in the heart.
The problem is many have a respect for God, but no relationship. Respect will not get you into heaven. You must have a personal relationship with Jesus.
Psalm 63:1 - O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

Is yours just a respect, or do you have a relationship with God.
