A 7.2-magnitude eathquake struck Haiti this morning, with aftershocks reaching 5.2. Fatalities and damage are reported, but we don’t have details yet.
From Pastor Bernard, president/bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Haiti (ELCH):
“We are fine here but do not yet hear from all the others. It is not easy to reach them through the phone. I am trying to get in contact with Les Cayes where there are lot of dammages especially in the buildings the same situation in South West, Grande Anse. Will keep you posted.”

The US Geological Survey said it's likely that casualties are "high" after a 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck near Haiti Saturday morning.
