Isaiah 5:20 NKJV
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

I know sometimes I’m just repeating myself whenever I speak about what I’ve just read in my Bible, but the truth never changes and the problem is very simple. We all have sinned against the very God who created us. The result of sin is evil in the world today. As we push God out of our lives and many times out of our churches, the result is more and more evil in society. Although we don’t call it evil anymore, we say that’s just the way I was created and everyone must celebrate who I am and whatever I want to be. The only way evil can be removed from within ourselves is through Jesus Christ, the Son of God who died for our sins. Amen 🙏 There is absolutely nothing we can do except follow the example of one thief on the cross next to Jesus. The one who admitted he had sinned his entire life and was getting what he deserved, but when he turned to Jesus, he was forgiven and he lives with Jesus today. How can we be forgiven and receive life eternal? Because the one on the middle cross, Jesus, said so. Repent and believe in Jesus. Don’t be shy about letting people know what Jesus did for you. Tell the good news to everyone that they might repent and believe. God bless each of you. ❤️

1 John 4:3 NKJV
and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

There are a lot of crazy ideas in the world today, everything from scientific theories to flying saucers from alien planets with different alien species living among us. But the bible speaks very plainly on how to recognize what is true, if these ideas deny Christ in any way whatsoever, then they are wrong. We have God’s word on it. Jesus is the Son of the living God, He is God Himself and the creator of all life and everything we can see, hear, taste, and enjoy of His creation. And we should not abuse anything God has created by using it in anyway other than how God intended it to be used for.The only problem we have is the sin in our life which separates us from God as we decide that we know how things came to be and that we can decide for ourselves how we should live our lives. Look around at the world we live in and it’s very clear that we don’t have a clue about what we are doing. We are in desperate need of a Savior and that Savior is Jesus. Amen 🙏 Unfortunately our world is full of people that don’t even understand that they have sinned, nor do they believe God even exists. We who know God through Jesus must share our faith and biblical truth with others we meet. The good news is that the God who is in us who believe in Jesus is much greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) God bless each of you.

Matthew 15:8-9 NKJV
'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. [9] And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.' "

It’s very easy to get in the habit of doing things and forget why you’re doing them in the first place. We aren’t any different than the people we read about in the Bible. We can sometimes put traditions in the place of God’s truth and worship God in vain. We must examine our heart daily and remember why Jesus had to die for our sins. We can pray and ask God to refresh our hearts and minds about His love for us and to help us remember to love one another as we should. May we come to God on bended knee and worship Him with our whole heart. Without Jesus we wouldn’t have any hope for a future with our creator. Amen 🙏 So, praise the Lord today and share the gospel with someone you meet today, invite them to church and worship God together. God bless each of you. ❤️

1 John 4:20 NKJV
If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

It’s easy to love others when we get along with them and they have similar interests as we do. But the Bible says we are to love our brothers as well as our enemies. After all, God loved us even though our sins made us enemies with God, and He demonstrated this love by sending His Son to die in our place while we were sinners. How can we refuse to love others even when they aren’t very lovable? Maybe one reason we don’t love others comes from the fact that we haven’t spent enough time with God. The more time spent learning about God and all that He has done for us becomes a humbling experience, as we examine our own lives in view of scripture. Jesus was willing to die for us, knowing full well about our sinful nature. Who does that? God did that, and if we love God, how can we hate anyone? And if we do, let us pray to God, asking Him to show us how to love everyone. Love does not mean we love the sin others commit. Amen 🙏 We must tell others about the sinful nature we all have and what God has done through Jesus for us, so we can repent and believe in Jesus. Telling others about sin and Jesus is not hate. It demonstrates how much we care and love others. But we must do this in a loving way. We have all sinned, and all of us need Jesus who died for our sins. He was buried, but He rose from the grave. It’s Jesus and Jesus alone who can save us from our sins. Love someone enough to tell them about Jesus and what He has done in your life. God bless each of you. ❤️

1 Peter 5:6-9 NKJV
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, [7] casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. [8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. [9] Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

Yea, but
Have you ever tried to share Jesus with someone and their response begins with ” yea but” or maybe you tried to encourage someone and here it comes “ yea but”. Even when we study the word with another Christian and we both discover some biblical truth, we sometimes reply “ yea but”. It seems way too often we all have had a hard time at one time or another in our life to fully trust God or take Him at His word. Now why is this? Maybe it’s because in trusting God no matter what the outcome we can sometimes feel like God has let us down. We want prayer answered our way. When that doesn’t happen we become angry with God. Just like a small child does with his parents when they don’t get their way. We have to trust God knows best for us even if we don’t understand. Yea but, that is often hard to do, yes it is. But doing so builds patience and increases our faith. We must be sober-minded and well-grounded in God’s word and we must believe what our Lord tells us in His word. God is the only one we can trust no matter what the outcome is. He hears our prayers and we can cast all our cares upon Him. Amen 🙏 we can’t always see clearly what the situation is around us and it’s easy to become discouraged, but trust the Lord anyway. Share your faith in Jesus with others and never promise them life here will be great if they do, their life might become filled with more affliction. But God’s grace is sufficient and in Jesus we have hope of eternal life with Him filled with joy, even though for the present time we may have to suffer. God bless each of you ❤️

John 13:34 NKJV
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

God loved us even while we were sinning, but that doesn’t mean He wants to leave us in our sins. People often say, “I was born this way and if God is love, then He loves me the way He made me”. God is love and He demonstrated that when Jesus died on the cross, but when we come to Jesus and repent, we die to our old way of life and He creates in us a new life that we may live in obedience to Him. No, we won’t be sinless because we are still tempted to do wrong, but we begin to desire the things that God desires and as we spend time with Christ praying and reading His word, we begin to change little by little. Amen 🙏 Only God can make this kind of difference in the life of a sinful person. Because God loves us, He wants to remove all sin from our lives. This we could never do through any effort of our own. Show your love for someone today by telling them about Jesus and what He is doing in your life. God bless each of you. ❤️

1 John 3:22-23 NKJV
And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. [23] And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

God gives us whatever we ask for, at least when we are keeping His commandments. His commandments are to believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and to love one another. This doesn’t mean that we just claim the name of Jesus and then ask for material possessions that are just for our own selfish pleasures. To believe on the name of Jesus is a very serious condition of the heart. When we realize just how much we have sinned against God and deserve the death that awaits us, it should bring us to our knees before God. Unfortunately, too many people don’t understand that they have sinned. They compare themselves to other sinners and have no fear of God. Any sin separates us from God. Only by confessing to God that we have sinned and putting our trust in Christ and Christ alone, believing in who He is and His death on the cross, buried, and the fact that He rose from the grave, conquering death, can we be made right with God. Amen 🙏 We are also to love one another. Now here is something to ask for in the name of God. Because it is not always easy for us to love one another. We can so easily aggravate one another, or they can aggravate us. We fight with one another and have all kinds of excuses to hate one another. This should never be, and only God can help us to love one another as we should. Pray to God and ask Him in the powerful name of Jesus to give you a genuine love for people. Share Jesus with those people you once hated, so they can know and believe on the name of Jesus. God bless each of you ❤️

1 John 1:10 NKJV
If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

It’s difficult to save someone if they don’t know they need saving. If someone is unaware of the danger they are in and you rush up to them, trying to lead them to safety, they will probably think you’ve lost your mind. Leading someone to Jesus isn’t any different, we must point out to the one we are sharing our faith with why we need Jesus. Especially since we live in a world where people don’t recognize sin anymore. For me, the Ten Commandments help me to recognize the sin in my own life. Then I had to understand that I couldn’t be made right with God through my own efforts or good deeds. I was in need of a Savior. Other people played a role in helping see the problem, but it was God’s doing that prepared me to believe in Christ, but He first taught me that my sins had separated me from knowing Him as I should. Then I was ready to hear the gospel. Jesus died for my sins, was buried, and rose from the grave and when I believed that I was born again into the family of God. Amen 🙏 It was the Lords doing. I could not have a new birth through my own efforts anymore than I could have caused my physical birth through my own efforts. Share Jesus with others in your life, but help them see why they need Jesus.

Matthew 15:18-19 NKJV
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. [19] For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

If we continually speak evil things always criticizing others and only speak well of situations when it benefits us, then we have a heart problem. The only one who can help us is Jesus. Only Jesus can give us a pure heart while cutting away the evil that surrounds our heart, so that with our new heart we can sincerely encourage one another to walk with Jesus. We need a strong healthy heart to tell those who don’t know Jesus the truth about sin and the Savior we all need. Love is not telling a person what they want to hear, love is telling someone what they need to hear. We have all sinned and that means we are all dying and going to hell. Most don’t want to hear that and they find it offensive, but it’s the truth. We have hope in Jesus because while we all are sinners, Jesus died in our place. Amen 🙏 If we repent and believe in Jesus we can live with Him for all eternity, we will be forgiven. God will place a new heart in us and the way we speak will be evidence of our new life. Tell others the truth about Jesus. Encourage another believer who is struggling in their walk with the Lord. God bless each of you. ❤️

How do we humble ourselves before God when we have been taught our whole life to try and be self sufficient? We have to recognize who God is and that we are not God and never will be. Sounds easy enough, but when we decide we know what is right or wrong by our own reasoning about a situation aren’t we putting ourselves in place of God? Only God knows what is right and He never changes what He says about sin. We must go to God on bended knees and confess that we have sinned and we don’t even understand all the sins we commit. We need God everyday to teach us and show us how to live our lives and often we don’t like this idea because we want to decide for ourselves, we think we know better. Only when I’m in trouble do I call upon the Lord the most. I have to continually learn to humble myself and depend on my God, casting all my cares upon Him. Amen 🙏 We all must learn to love one another and what greater way to love someone then by telling them what Jesus has done to set us free from sin and the death penalty it brings. But in this we must humble ourselves too, putting others needs ahead of our own, sharing Jesus with someone even when it’s not the best time for us. Remember that while we were sinners Christ died for us. That alone should keep us humble before the LORD. God bless each of you. ❤️
