Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

When I was in the hospital last week, one of the night time nurses asked me how long I had been married to my wife? I told her I’ve been married forty seven years. She seemed surprised and asked me what was my secret? No secret, I just pray about my marriage often. Some people laugh at this statement a little, as if I’m saying my marriage has been a tough battle that I’ve had to fight my way through. The truth is marriage can be rough at times because there are many problems the two of you have to face together and life isn’t always easy. But the more time you spend in prayer together asking God to lead you through each day, the less time you have to blame each other for the problems you face. Men are supposed to love their wives the way that Jesus loved the church and gave Himself for her. The problem with that truth, it takes us young men a lifetime to fully understand that truth. I did one thing right at the beginning, I prayed to God asking for a Christian wife and every time I thought things weren’t right I prayed about it. Then I realized I was the one that needed to change. It was a slow process but my wife is a patient woman. Amen 🙏 Marriage without God is a disaster waiting to happen. Only Jesus can sustain a marriage, but it takes both husband and wife praying together. Share Jesus with others and let them know what Jesus has done in your life. Pray often and pray together. Proverbs 18:14 NKJV
The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, But who can bear a broken spirit?

When I have a strong, healthy relationship with God, I can face any difficulties that come my way. But what happens if we begin to feel hopeless or that trying to deal with a situation seems futile? Does that mean our relationship with God is in trouble? Any of us can feel depressed at times or that maybe God isn’t listening to our prayers. But feelings come and go. I don’t want to depend on my feelings. God never promised me that life would be easy. Growing older isn’t easy. My problems aren’t going to be solved with the latest scientific breakthrough in medicine. There are many who have greater problems than I have, and they make my problems seem small. We should take advantage of whatever we have available to us that could help our situation, but in everything we do, let us pray, asking for healing and guidance in making good decisions. Remembering that God’s grace is sufficient. Amen 🙏 I will stand on the promises of God and not my feelings. Hopeless feelings should just remind us to always encourage one another in the Lord, because everyone is going through something, and we all need Jesus. Share the gospel with someone who is living hopelessly without God and let them know what Jesus has done for you. God bless each of you. ❤️

2 Thessalonians 2:11 NKJV
And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,

Any of us can be deceived. That is why we must stand firm in our faith and believe what we read in God’s word. We must encourage one another daily and pray continuously. The time is coming when some will turn away from sound doctrine and believe the mainstream lie that will be proclaimed in every way possible. This has already begun in our schools, news media, and even our government. Many more lies are coming; do not be deceived by what you hear or by what you see. They are even trying to use the Bible to prove their lies. This is why we need to read all of the Bible and read it carefully. Amen. Let us remember that the Lord spoke to Abraham, and Abraham believed God and was considered righteous because he believed. We believe that Jesus was crucified on a cross for our sins, died on that cross, and was buried, but he rose from the grave, and we are made right with God by His Son, Jesus. Don’t let anyone turn you from knowing this truth. Share Christ with others. Time is running out. God bless each of you. ❤️

Proverbs 29:7 NKJV
The righteous considers the cause of the poor, But the wicked does not understand such knowledge.

If we have put our faith in Jesus and believe in Him, then we are righteous only because of what God has done through Jesus and not of ourselves. Then how can we overlook the needs of others? They may be poor in spirit or they may have physical needs. They may need Jesus in the same way we did before we found salvation in Christ. Whatever their situation, we must look for ways to help one another, not because we are required to, but because of the love, mercy, and grace we have received in Jesus. If there is something lacking in my walk with Jesus, it has to be that I don’t consider the needs of the poor as I should. It’s not that I don’t care, it’s just easy to let that problem rest on government programs or large churches that have many resources. But I think all of us need to help. Amen 🙏 I pray that God helps me see clearly where and how I can help those in need of food and clothing, but also those in need of the gospel. Maybe another believer in Jesus needs an encouraging word from a fellow believer. I might have to step out of our comfort zone to help someone. May we all be ready to help one another and to let someone know what Jesus has done for us. God bless each of you. ❤️

Psalm 102:18 NKJV
This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the LORD.

Today is a good day to praise the Lord. The truth is, every day is a good day to praise the Lord. We just think of Him more some mornings as we remember all the great things He is doing. I praise Him for what He has done for all of us by sending His Son to die for our sins and how Jesus rose from the grave that all who believe in Him may live eternally with Him. I praise Him for allowing me to tell others about Jesus. I praise the name of Jesus who knew about us long before we were even born. And I am thankful for all the encouragement others bring to me and their prayers as we serve God together in the body of Christ. I pray every day that I can be an encouragement to others as I point to the cross giving God all the glory for all that He is doing in my life and the lives of others who believe in Him. Praise the Lord for all those who will believe in Him as we tell others about the gospel. And think about all those who aren’t even born yet who will come to believe as God’s kingdom continues to grow. Amen 🙏 Share with others what Jesus has done for you and let God’s light shine from within your heart. Praise the name of Jesus. And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

Good news, I am out of the hospital and feeling bettered. I’m not cured, but I’m feeling better. I need to se a couple doctors to find out why my red blood cell levels keep dropping, so we can treat this problem. But I’m home, praise the Lord. 🙏

I’ve been reading this verse about the man with leprosy and how Jesus cured him. But I’ve missed something I think is of importance. Jesus told him to go and do the things Moses had written in Leviticus 14 about the cleansing of someone who was healed from leprosy, and this would be a testimony of God’s work to them. We often want to tell someone what Jesus has done for us, and that is good, but when we let them see what Jesus has done in our lives and is still doing, that is even a greater testimony of God’s work in our lives. I think everything that happens to us, both good and bad, can be a testimony to others of our faith in Christ. But sometimes we think if something bad happens it must be a lack of faith on our part, but that’s not true. The problem is we live in a world that is damaged by sin, the only solution is Jesus. When Jesus returns everything will be restored. Until then we must hope in the only one who can save us from all sin, Jesus. Amen 🙏 Jesus came and died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the grave. Turn to Jesus and you can have life, life eternal with Him. Share Jesus with others, pray with them, teach God’s word to others. Love God and love one another. God bless each of you. ❤️

It is good for me that I have been afflicted, That I may learn Your statutes.

Well, I’m still in the hospital, but I’m hoping to go home today. Just waiting on the results of one of the tests they did. Had a pint of blood and another infusion of iron yesterday. If my red blood cells stay above the low point, I can go home.

About ten years ago, I started having some health problems and had to retire. I’ve been a Christian since I was a teenager, but I never grew much in my relationship with Jesus. I was lazy at reading my Bible, praying, and going to church. After getting married, that began to change since my wife was a Christian, and now we both go to church. But something always came up that made me lose interest in going to church. I felt left out or I saw problems in my local church, and I would leave. Then find another church, where similar things would happen. I think the problem was more with me than those other churches. I needed to trust God more and bring those problems to Him, asking for help or direction and what I could offer to help rather than just complain.
It really was a blessing when God brought me to the point where I began to pray more, read my Bible more, and asked Him to place me into a body of believers. I love my church and I love everyone in my church. Yes, we have problems, but we love Jesus and we pray about any problems and work together on them. Amen 🙏 If you are involved in a local church, ask God what He would like you to do in that church. Trust Him when problems come up and never give up. Tell others what Jesus has done for you. Invite others to come to church. Praise the Lord daily and be a blessing to others. God bless each of you. ❤️

But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

For those of you who may not have heard, I’m in the hospital with anemia again. This is the third time in three years I have had to deal with this. They are concerned that I’m bleeding somewhere internally, so they want to run some more test today. I feel good, but very tired when I walk around. I know God will take care of this, but pray for a healing and for wisdom for the doctors as they do what they can.
God is the only one who can bring complete healing to all of us. We must turn from worry and put all our trust and belief in the one who sent His Son to die for our sins. Amen 🙏 Be a witness to others in how you behave and share Jesus with others telling them what He has done for you. God bless each of you. ❤️

1 Peter 1:3 NKJV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Praise the Lord for all He has done for us. We were given life and everything we needed to live in fellowship with our Creator. But we chose to believe a lie and rejected the truth about God. Our sins have affected all of creation, which is dying as people continue to reject the truth about God. Why would God even consider showing us mercy? We don’t have a right to complain about the situation we find ourselves living in, yet many people who don’t believe in God still blame God for all the problems we face. We cannot fix this problem through our own efforts, and we are without excuses since we have rejected the truth. But God has shown us mercy by sending His Son Jesus to die for all of our sins, providing us with a living hope. All who believe in the Son, repenting, and putting their faith only in Christ and Christ alone are reborn into the family of God to live forever in the house of God. Amen 🙏 But don’t take my word on this; read it yourselves in God’s word, the Bible. Call upon God, who can save you from death that waits for all of us who have rejected Him. Tell everyone what Jesus has done for you; even though we die, we will live in Jesus. ✝️ God bless each of you ❤️
