There’s a tension we all feel sometimes, between who we’ve been and who God is calling us to become. Old habits, old mindsets, old ways of reacting, they don’t just disappear overnight. But this reminder brings us back to something deeper, you’re not trying to become someone new on your own, you’re learning to live from a new identity that’s already been given to you.

This shows up in the everyday moments... When you’re frustrated at work, when you’re trying to be patient with your kids, when you’re choosing how to respond in a difficult conversation. It’s not about getting it perfect, it’s about letting Christ shape how you think, speak, and live one decision at a time.

We’re in this together, growing, learning, and choosing to live differently even in the small moments. You don’t have to figure it all out today. Just take the next step, and trust that God is at work in you. 🙏

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” - Galatians 2:20

Joseph woke up that morning just doing what his dad asked him to do. He went looking for his brothers, probably thinking it would be a normal day. Instead, he ended up hurt, rejected, and sitting in a pit wondering how everything changed so fast.

Life can feel like that sometimes. You’re trying to do right, keep your faith, love your people well, and then out of nowhere something hits you hard. A phone call. A betrayal. Bad news from the doctor. A season you never saw coming. Those moments can make you feel forgotten real quick.

But one thing this story reminds us is that God does some of His deepest work in the places we would have never chosen for ourselves. Joseph’s pit was painful, but God had not walked away from him. Jesus knows that kind of pain too. He obeyed the Father fully and still suffered. And because of that, we can trust that even when life feels unfair, God is still near and still working.

If you’re in a hard season right now, keep going. Your story is not stuck in the pit forever. 🙌

It’s easy to think of our talents as just… ours. Something we’ve built, practiced, or gotten better at over time. Whether it’s music, leadership, serving, or something quieter behind the scenes, we can hold onto it pretty tightly.

But when you place it in God’s hands, not for recognition, not to prove anything, just as an offering, it shifts from performance to worship, from pressure to purpose.

And the truth is, it doesn’t have to be perfect to matter, it just has to be willing. So maybe the question isn’t, am I good enough? Maybe it’s simply, am I open to letting God use what I already have? 🙌

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” – Colossians 3:23

Sometimes we treat grace like a loophole, but grace was never meant to make us careless. It was meant to make us confident in the love of God. Jesus didn’t go to the cross so we could keep running back to the same emptiness. He gave His life so we could finally live free from striving, shame, and the pressure to earn what He already paid for.

When you really begin to understand how deeply you’re loved by God, your desires start to change. Sin stops looking satisfying when your heart has already found something better. That’s the beauty of grace. It doesn’t just forgive you, it transforms you from the inside out. 🙌

“God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” - Romans 5:8

Some of us have been quietly carrying the weight of trying to get it right. Trying to be consistent, to make better choices, to not fall back into the same patterns. And when we do, it can feel like we’ve set ourselves back further than we want to admit.

But God's not standing at a distance waiting for you to prove you’ve changed. He moves toward you with patience, with understanding, with a kind of grace that meets you right in the middle of where you actually are... And that changes how we live. Not striving to earn His approval, but learning to walk with Him in the middle of real life, even when it’s unfinished, even when it’s still a work in progress.

If today feels a little messy, or if you’ve been hard on yourself lately, you’re not alone in that, and you’re not behind either. God is always present, always patient, always working, right here in it with you 💚

“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.” – Psalm 103:8

Some of us know what it feels like to break promises, lose focus, or try to hold everything together on our own. That’s why the story of Abraham and Isaac matters so much. Isaac carried the wood up the mountain, trusting his father, while Abraham trusted that God would provide somehow, some way.

Then you look at Jesus carrying the cross and realize God was telling a bigger story all along. The cross was never about God giving up on people. It was about Him staying faithful to us, even when we could not stay faithful to Him.

A lot of us build our lives around what feels secure, our plans, reputation, comfort, control. But Jesus came to show us that real life is found in trusting the Father completely. Because of Him, failure does not get the final word. Grace does.

As we gather, grow, and go together, we are learning to live from the confidence that God still provides, still restores, and still keeps every promise He makes. 🙌
