The first congregants of Montgomery County's oldest black church - Sharp Street United Methodist Church in Sandy Spring, Md. established in 1822 - were freed people. Called the "heart of the neighborhood" the church has been ministering to generations of African Americans ever since, from the first day to now! Yes We Are "The Oldest Black Church in Montgomery County, Md."!!!

My station for today. Reading, reflecting and studying. I completed reading. The Books of Jeremiah and John. Working. On September's Series on John. I took a storytelling preaching course in August, and a study of the Parrables in July, and now I'm challenged to challenged our Sharp Street family and community with lesson from the Parables in the Book of John. Every day is a learning. Experience.

September's Bible Stidy noon at 7pm each Wednesday on Zoom
