1 Peter 3:15
But Sanctify the Lord God in your Hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who ask you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;
Sanctify = set apart or declare Holy…
It’s absolutely amazing that an election can separate people, families , friendships even Christians… you would think the end of the World was happening to some.
But here we are to be set apart… Holy with the Love of Christ in our Hearts and our beings… the Word says to be ready to defend the hope ( Salvation) that is in you…
My Friends, this morning we are to defend the Word… there is no Man perfect nor will be! But I will stand on the truths of the Word of God no matter what, who, or when someone says different! Bible says it’s Sin it’s a Sin hands down no question!
The Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than a two edge sword that can cut to the marrow of the bone!
Am I perfect… by no means No! Was David perfect… No
Was Saul perfect… No
Was the Woman at the well… No
And could go on and on… they, we, Me as Paul stated… “I’m the Chief of sinners!!!
Going to paraphrase this what Paul stated
“ I don’t do what I should but I do what I shouldn’t “
Friends, We All have different ideas and philosophy about life, the country, politics, TV shows, music etc…
But let me be very clear here…
If God be for you who can be against you!
Read and study your Bible, spend time in prayer!
Be ready to tell somebody about what Jesus has done in your life and remember… your actions will always… always speak louder than words!
