Always learning something new…
With my reselling experience over the past 20+ years, I am always learning what’s hot (sells quick) and what’s not. I bought some ceramic chickens at a garage sale and sold all within two weeks. I had a box full of Gwen Frostic note cards and books, they all sold quickly. All the digital cameras I have found sell quickly.
I enjoyed all the neighborhood garage sales last weekend, and it’s always interesting to see how people price their items. This Curios George sealed Altoids tin had $10 on it, I thought that is crazy. So I checked completed sales on eBay and it sells $10-20, plus shipping. Crazy good! The lady who had it, had me back to see if there was anything I wanted to make an offer on when she was cleaning up her sale, so I took a few things home with me, including this tin. It will be in my Mega Mall showcase for $15. Will it sell? Time will tell.
So as a reseller, I am constantly learning about how sellable things are. It’s true in life too, we need to be constantly learning new things, expanding our skills, improving our techniques. Learning is life long.
