It has been a busy few days. I was looking at my calendar this morning and realized August 14, a little over a week ago, was my 10th Anniversary as Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church, Sandston, Va. I didn't want to let this time pass without mentioning it. It is the longest time in 30 years of ministry (between part-time and full-time, Youth Pastor and Pastor). It is significant to me that a third of my ministry time has been spent here. Our children were young and our Antioch Family has watched them grow over these 10 years. We have welcomed new faces together and said goodbye to dear friends. When God calls you to serve in a place you never know the journey ahead. I consider myself blessed to serve the Lord at Antioch. The blessing of serving alongside so many wonderful servant-hearted people. As Antioch celebrates its 250th year of ministry, I am grateful to be a small fraction of the long and faithful ministry of Antioch. Looking forward to the years to come.
