We are close to welcoming the Lenten season!
Please join us for worship on Sunday at 9:30 AM and see below for our extra services during Lent.

Lent begins with Ash Wednesday Service on February 18th at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary.

Each additional Wednesday throughout Lent enjoy the meditative music of Holden Evening Prayer at 6:00 in the sanctuary.

Grace Chastain brings chello sonatas by Brahms, Debusy, and MacMillian to the First Lutheran Concert Series on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 4:00 pm with Daniel Hughs on piano. This is another incredible concert you will not want to miss. The location is the sanctuary at First Lutheran Church at 526 S. Olive, Sandpoint, ID. Parking in the lot off of Ontario Street is plentiful. The suggested donation is $30 General, youth under 30 are free.

Reformation Sunday is October 26. It commemorates the start of the Protestant Reformation, which began when Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses on October 31, 1517. Wear RED to symbolize the fire of the Holy Spirit that empowered Martin Luther to reform the church.

Don't forget the Teen Center Community Dinner. Thursday, October 23rd, in the Fellowship Hall at First Lutheran Church. Ravioli Casserole, Salad, French Bread and Brownies are all prepared and served by the students. This is a fundraiser for the Teen Center so please support this amazing program! 2ND HARVEST FOOD DISTRIBUTION is on Thursday, September 25th from 11am - 1pm in FLC Back Parking Lot.
Volunteers are needed and can arrive at 9:00 to set up and help direct traffic.

Children, please join us for Sunday School starting, September 7th. All children are welcome. Register at the doors before the 9:30 a.m. church service. A children's sermon will be provided and then they will be escorted to the Sunday School room for Bible stories, songs, craft projects, and prayer. Kids will return to their family to participate in communion in the sanctuary. Snacks for everyone follows the church service.
