The goal of Zephyr Baptist Encampment is to provide an environment in its facilities and activities that encourages development in spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical areas.

What a gift and answered prayer! We are so excited to share that our camp license has officially been approved just in time for our first student camp of the summer!

We are beyond thankful for God’s faithfulness and His perfect timing. Worship, games, friendships, and life-changing moments are just around the corner and we cannot wait to see all God will do this summer!!!✨

Thank you to everyone who came, prayed, and stood with us as we committed this season to God and His plans. We are believing for changed lives, growing faith, and a summer that brings glory to Him.

For two decades, Abby has poured her heart into this ministry, impacting countless campers, staff, and families through her dedication, leadership, and servant spirit. Her love for the Lord and passion for people shines in everything she does.

Thank you, Abby, for 20 years of saying “yes” to God’s calling, loving others well, and helping make Camp Zephyr a place where people encounter Christ. Your legacy of service and obedience continues to inspire us.

We’re excited to introduce Mariah Sontoya as the newest member of the full-time Camp Zephyr family!

Mariah joins the team as our Marketing and Retreat Coordinator. She first served with us as a summer staffer and intern in 2025 after graduating from University of North Texas in 2024.

Mariah brings tenacity, energy, and joy to our community, and we are thrilled to have her join the mission of Camp Zephyr.
