Seek Him With Genuine Sincerity

"The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭145‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When we have a relationship with God, a true relationship with God, and we call upon him, we can feel his presence and him speaking directly to us.

I know a lot of times in my past I thought God is not hearing me. Why isn't He's not answering me? I am talking to Him!

It's because I didn't have genuine security and talking to Him.
In other words, I was hanging on the fence talking to Him not standing there humble before Him.

“For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And we have to clear our hearts because a lot of times there all spots get in there and they train our heart and they keep us from really being sincere. They hinder us.

“So Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding? Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.””

And we definitely need to get our mind right because I know as for me, my mind runs rapid and I have to get it clear before I take a petition to God .

We have been learning about true humility on Wednesday nights to repeat as to term from into turn from you have to be humble .....

You cannot fake humility ......

Timely Help

“There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.”
God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭46‬: 4-5 NKJV‬‬

When you think you are at your lowest of low and your breaking point, you can’t see an end in sight, but God already has the solution He had it before it started.

God lives within us and He always supplies that timely help.

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

He makes a way when we can’t see a way.

“Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. Perfect Purpose: His delays are purposeful preparation rather than absence or neglect. When human expectations clash with circumstances, we trust that His intervention happens at the precise moment of greatest need.

When our life is chaos in the enemy comes in like a flood there is God ….

How is it that you have no faith?” And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!””

We can always count on God‘s perfect timing, and not lean on our time on what we think should happen in our time.

We all share the same Father in Heaven.

Oneness, not sameness: Christian unity embraces diverse backgrounds, gifts, and perspectives while maintaining a shared purpose.

We are all in this together……
We are on the same team …….TEAM JESUS !!!!!!!

We should act as we are ONE BODY !!!!!!!!!!!!

We all share spiritual strength!!!!
We all would work together and not pull one another apart.

Fellowship is very important. I will talk Jesus ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!!!

This Is Get Wisdom Wednesday Come Join Us @ 7 For That Middle Of The Week Feeding Of Gods Word!

Total Rest And Protection

“I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I don’t know about you, but as for me, if I try to lay down with a bunch of junk up in that” head thinker” of mine I won’t have total complete rest.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I let the every day cares of life weigh me down with such a weight not only can I not rest, but I don’t feel safe.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬-‭30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When you have that intimate relationship with God, you learn to give him all that weight ,the worry, and the junk let Him carry it and you know that when He carries it, you’re safe from all harm.

“Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭55‬:‭22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This is gonna take a daily routine of prayer and talking to Him.He already knows anyway, but He wants to hear it from us. He wants to hear it in a cry for help , and then ask for wisdom and knowledge ,and not a meltdown or a pity party.

“Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭2‬:‭3‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Read scripture each day look up, scriptures on protection and rest. Meditate on those get those in that “head thinker “and tell the enemy he’s not welcome in that “head thinker “evict him.

“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
‭‭James‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And we need to practice stillness.
Do I need to say that loud for those in the back ,I said stillness.
I’m preaching to the choir right now. I don’t always do that.

“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.””

I have it in that “head thinker “that I have to stay constantly busy all the time.

And that is a lie from the enemy……
Busyness is not always good…
We have got to take that stillness time where we can actually hear that still small voice from God prompting us that nudging from the Holy Spirit leading us.

“And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭41‬-‭42‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We have a lot of distractions in our life, brother Paul preached a powerful message Sunday about distractions from Nehemiah.

But that’s a tactic of the enemy to get you distracted.
Your own one subject or your own one project and that “head thinker”goes absolutely stir crazy, and next thing you know you’re hollering squirrel……. 🐿️ are you throwing in the white towel and saying I’m done.

“And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the word. And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. We have got to release all control to God and put on your safety.

When you take a lesson in fi****ms, they thoroughly advised that especially with a handgun you keep it on safety. You keep it ready, but you keep it on safety. We need to do the same thing. We need to always have that safety pushed,because God is our protection and all we have to do is access it, but we cannot be so complacent and let that “head thinker” run rapid Without that safety on.

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And we need to reflect on God‘s goodness and everything that God provides and everything that we have access to through Jesus Christ.
“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!”

Stay Calm- God’s Got Your Back

The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.””

God's got my back (hm)
Even when I fall or get attacked
God's got my back
Even when I'm low and full of lack
God's got my back
Even when my soul is full of sorrow
I don't have to worry about tomorrow
Why's that?
'Cause God's got my-
Back, back, back, right there, never left
I could feel Your presence in every single breath
Sometimes we just gotta take a rest (rest)
Flowers like to bloom in the season that is best

Here lately, I am not struggling so hard with holding my peace.
I meditate more. I pray more. I take that “pause “more.

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭46‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I’m learning how to not let my mind go there and when it does go there, I try to “nip it quick .”

“You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, For in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭26‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God has that quiet rescue..🛟shields you from unseen dangers and spiritual harm before you even realize a threat exists.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. God brings that inner peace that can only come from Him …… gives you a calm mind during stressful moments that does not make sense logically.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God brings that faithful provision …. supplies your daily needs, often showing up with the right help right when things look impossible.

“‘Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭32‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

He provides patience and grace …forgives your mistakes and gives you fresh starts every single day.

“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”
‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And he has that guiding wisdom …. uses the Bible, prayer, and wise advice from others to help you make good choices.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

He provides comfort in sorrow …sits with you in hard times and heals your emotional pain.He’s always ready and waiting to bless us.

Prospering Soul

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
‭‭III John‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In order for the soul to prosper we have to align our mind, will ,and our emotions with God’s truth and love through Jesus Christ.

If we do that, it keeps us free from heavy emotional burdens …

The one that the enemy plagues me the most is guilt and shame.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
‭‭I John‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

He can have me believe in all kinds of things once he gets his foothold into my mind. That’s what he does. He’s a cunning snake..

So I have to try my brain to resist those temptations for my mind to go there.

Then he throws in the fear for loved ones or fear for someone else or worry….

Again, I have to train my brain to listen to the situation first before I act.
Is this God or is this that cunning snake trying to tempt me again?

“So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And then he throws in that doubt in that silent waiting period.
Where I prayed and I’m waiting for a prayer or waiting for a situation to change or God to change me in the situation I have to train my brain to not take that bait that he’s threw out there.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And then that snake has the audacity to just sling some rejection at me…..
She don’t talk to you anymore. What did you do to her? She thinks she’s better than you……

So I have to try my brain to weigh out the situation. Pray about the situation. Meditate on it and find a scripture to slow my brain down.

“Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.” Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,” and “A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.”

And then there’s that spiritual warfare me, trying trying to fight against things that I have no business fighting against because God fights my battles .
But that snake going through that out there too, so I have to train my brain to know that I have already got the victory and the hand it to God and watch how He fights the battle .

““And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, ‘Your eyes have seen all that the Lord your God has done to these two kings; so will the Lord do to all the kingdoms through which you pass. You must not fear them, for the Lord your God Himself fights for you.’”

And then that snake will throw out there that I’m not doing enough so I have to train my brain to know that that I’m not equipped to carry some things that’s not the way God built me .

“Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

“Oh, I’m praying I pray every day but nothing‘s happening…..”

I have said that myself, but my prayer was not effective then and I wasn’t praying with a sincere heart.

We must focus on a sincere relationship with God aligning our request with His will, and removing all distractions from our lives.

“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”
‭‭I John‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Distractions an every day occurrence of the enemy, that’s what he wants to do. Get you distracted get your focus off of your relationship with God.

That is some of the lyrics to a Forest Frank song called Celebration.

“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

But that’s exactly what we have to do. If we want effective prayers we have to put down things and raise up things close the door get isolated. Talk to Him one on one get in that place where you can get in His presence.

“And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.” So the Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.””

You gotta let go of grudges ….. forgive other people and forgive yourself so your heart is open and not spotted….

“‘You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.”

Try listening first listen to some word. Read some word out loud get that scripture in your heart.

“And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Claim God’s promises, you know they are yes, and Amen …..

“But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Show Him adoration …. Praise Him and worship Him thank Him.

“Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.”
