Father’s Day is coming up on Sunday and we’re gonna celebrate all the dads at CTM in a big way! Join us in either Worship Encounter at 9:00 or 10:45am. We’ll have root beer and gourmet bacon served up in the lobby for all the dads… because nothing says “we appreciate you” quite like meat. And we’re also giving away some incredible prizes to one dad in EACH Worship Encounter. No dad is created alike so the winner will get to choose between FOUR prize options: a shotgun, a Blackstone grill, a golf package, or a cooler. So dads, make plans to be here… and somebody go ahead and text your husband, dad, grandpa, brother, or uncle and tell him he needs to come to church on Father’s Day!

Hey Guys

It’s Asher this week I loved making puppets and using them for the kids.

Lizards 🦎 were everywhere and so COOL!

God was telling me I was doing a great job and he confirmed it when I found 3 beads at youth church with 3 letters! I C U!!!

I also loved all the Jobs but my favorite was serving food to the people going through a rough patch.

The heat was rough but I knew I had to push through it!!!

After the youth encounter I LOVED THE ICECREAM! ALSO THE GIANT SLICES OF CHEESE PIZZA 🍕

MY BUDDY PHILLIP MADE ME FEEL SAFE UNTIL HE LET A LIZARD BITE MY HAND! 🤚

God has been moving in ways that only be described by as GOD DID!!!
All week God he has been showing up in a mighty and powerful ways through our team whether it has been helping people who are experiencing homelessness or people who are just in need. We have also been helping and running a VBS for kids and that has been a blast!! We have had around 4 to 5 kids over the span of the time give the their lives to the Lord and choose to follow him!! Praise be to the Lord who doesn’t care what age you are or your circumstances!

Day 4th day in Orlando!

Today was our fourth and final day in Orlando. We all woke up, got ready, and headed to breakfast. It was a tiring morning, but we made it through!
After breakfast, we went to the Orlando Union Rescue Mission, where we spent time with the kids. We played games, danced, shared our testimonies, and made salvation bracelets. The Bible story was about Saul, who disliked Jesus and His followers. Saul became blind and could not see until Jesus spoke to his heart. Jesus gave him one thing to do—stop persecuting Him and His followers. When Saul obeyed, his sight was restored. It was such a powerful story to share with the kids.
After serving, we were given a tour of the Orlando Union Rescue Mission. It was incredible to see how they use every resource to serve people in need. The love and care they put into everything they do was inspiring. Later, we went to the Sharing Center, where we helped organize shelves and sort clothes. It was a lot of fun, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve in so many different ways today. I feel incredibly blessed to have been part of all these experiences on our last day. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for us throughout this trip!

Jesus has done amazing things. We are ever so privileged to have the opportunity of being able to contribute to this community. Seeing people through Jesus’s eyes is what we are called to do, and this week I have seen so much. These children at VBS are so special and cared for by the organization and i am so glad to be apart of that. SALT is an absolute blessing to the homeless community and it is where people can walk around clean and refreshed and served with the grace of God. You never realize how much you have to be grateful for until you see someone else’s perspective of the world. I am so blessed to have not only a relationship with CTM, but also a relationship with these communities. Coming from Alaska to do Gods work has been so impactful. “Yall brought a smile to my face,” and joy to my heart. ✝️Hanah

Yesterday the Lord moved in mighty ways. At the start of our day we got to hangout and play with kids of all ages and show them the love of Jesus. Then after we got to go to a place called SALT that helps people who are experiencing homelessness. I got the opportunity to go and pray over several people and just talk to them about many things. After, we got the amazing opportunity that the Lord placed in front of us to take a lady we met at SALT, Tami, to rehab!! Sarah, Jenna, Melinda, Carla, Bristol, and I all went and it was truly an eye opening experience. Originally Bristol and I weren’t supposed to go but the Lord knew we needed to be there! I can’t wait to go love on these kiddos for one last day!! PRAISE THE LORD!!

Today while working at SALT which is a ministry in South Florida who works to combat homelessness. The lord placed a women named Tami in my path. I saw Tami sitting and reading a book and me and Melinda walked up to talk to her and she was just beaming with joy. She told us she was going into rehab today. We got to know her and hear about her life, her kids and grandkids. After speaking to the workers at SALT me, Carla, Melinda, Sarah, Bristol, and Kynlee are currently bringing her to rehab. Pray for Tami as she starts this journey!

Orlando day 3
We started off our day going back to play games, worship, and teach the word to the kids. We got the opportunity to do a craft with the kids that recognizes what our life was before and after we asked Jesus into our lives.
After working with kids we got to help out at SALT which is a service place where we got to love and help individuals who are experiencing homelessness.
Every day we are grateful for the opportunities that are given for us to help in the community and make an impact in others lives. Thank you Jesus!!

Orlando Day 3 was amazing, we went to VBS where I met this little girl named Milanah. She was all over me and loved to learn about Jesus from us. This trip so far has just made me so much more appreciative and thankful for what I have at home. I’m very excited for these next few days and for what God has in store for us. I’m already feeling impacted by God and by others just in 3 days, I can only imagine what it’ll be like with 4 more. I hope to bring the need of serving God and others back to Sand Springs and to the MVMT. I miss all of yall as well.
