Dorothy Jean Goode passed into heaven on August 9, 2025 at the age of 95. Dorothy was born on January 5, 1930, in Coffeyville, Kansas, and spent her early years in Parsons, Kansas, where she graduated from Parsons Junior College. In April 1951, she was united in marriage to Bobby

Friends of FCC Sand Springs, we have had a long-time member pass away and we wanted to share the news here. The lovely Dorothy Goode passed away this morning. We will post more details here when possible.

Good evening friends of First Christian Church - Sand Springs! We are having our Lunch Bunch and Prayer Group still if any of you would like to join us.

We pass out snack packs to the homeless from 11-12 if you'd like to participate. From noon to 12:30 we share a meal, with the entree provided and the sides and desserts are brought by attendees. Beginning at 12:30, we have Prayer Group, where we not only pray for those in need but we do Bible study as well. We wrap up around 1:30.

If you'd like to participate, we are at 913 S. Boulder in Tulsa, 74119. The parking lot on the Main Street side is where you'll want to go, as that's the main entrance.

Join us Wednesday for snack pack distribution from 11-12, then the POTLUCK lunch is from 12-12:30. Lastly, Bible study will be from 12:30-1:30, and is led by Elder Randy Rice. We meet at First Christian Church Tulsa. Come join us!

Don't forget that we are still having our Lunch Bunch and Prayer Group at First Christian Church Tulsa. We help with handing out snack packs to our homeless neighbors from 11-noon. From about noon-12:30 we have a POTLUCK lunch, so bring a dish to share. Then from approximately 12:30-1:30 we will do a Bible study led by Elder Randy Rice. We would love to have you join us!

Today marks the day that Disciples Women is 150 years old! If memory serves me correctly, the women's group was called CWF for Christian Women's Fellowship, at least in the '60s and '70s when my mom was a member. Good afternoon! Don't forget that we're now worshipping with our friends at First Christian Church Tulsa.

This Wednesday, October 16th, we will pass out snack packs to our homeless neighbors from 11-noon. This is such a great way to get to know some of these folks. Several of us have been truly blessed by this ministry, just as we hope to be a blessing to others.

Beginning at about noon to 12:30, we will share a meal in the Fellowship Hall. This is a potluck, so if you're planning on joining us, bring something to share. We are unable to provide the entree at this point in time. If that changes we will let you know.

Prayer Group/Bible Study is from approximately 12:30-1:30 p.m. and is led by Elder Randy Rice. We will study and discuss the word of God.
