Hey Rimrock Fam! I’m not in town right now, but I’m told that the severe weather is acting all mean and nasty later, so we are going to cancel dinner and prayer meeting tonight. Lay low, pray at home, and start getting your heart ready for Sunday. Ruth will be glad because she stayed home today, and was NOT happy about it! Love you church!

TRIVIA TIME! When was the first time in history that the Gospel was shared?
TIME'S UP! Genesis 3:14-19! God had cursed Adam and Eve for their sin, and the serpent for deceiving them, and then said that the seed of the woman would bruise the serpent's head, and the serpent will bruise the man's heel. Of course, God was talking about Jesus, who would later take the entire wrath of God on the cross, but three days later, He would rise from the grave! BAM! The Gospel--the Good News!
It is the same Gospel that Paul was excited to talk about when he wrote to the Roman church, and identified himself as a slave of the Adonai--Jesus Christ, and this news was the message he was sent to deliver. I'm glad he did.
