www.uccsanbornton.org We welcome you to the Sanbornton Congregational Church, United Church of Christ! (9:30 a.m. in July and August). We invite and welcome everyone to worship with us and participate in our ministries. Adults, youth and children are all invited to receive the sacrament

of Communion, which is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. We are a church of 85 members, with an average of 55 people in Sunday morning Worship. Our pastor seeks to offer creative, thoughtful sermons that bring the Scripture readings alive and guide us in our daily lives. Music is an essential aspect of our worship of God. Our Senior Choir sings anthems each Sunday, and we use the UCC New Century Hymnal. Our newly restored organ fills the Meeting House with its inspiring sounds! During Worship, our nursery is unstaffed but available for parents to use. Children and youth participate in Worship through the Word for Young People; then they are invited to attend Sunday School classes, from age 4 through grade 8. Children and youth remain in Worship on the first Sunday of each month, so that we may all celebrate the sacrament of Communion together. When you enter our Meetinghouse, you will be struck by the beautiful stained-glass windows, designed for the glory of God and in honor of those who came before us. Our Meetinghouse is handicapped accessible, and we have an accessible bathroom in our fellowship hall, which we call the Undercroft. We are committed to loving God and our neighbor with kindness, joy, and justice, through Worship and Fellowship, Outreach and Christian Formation (Education). We honor our membership in the United Church of Christ, through which we have voted to be designated as an Open and Affirming, Peace with Justice Church (Please see links). Deadline is just days away....

Let's fill the seats and launch this terrific fall prevention program presented by Granite VNA on June 2nd and 3rd at the Sanbornton Public Library.

Healthy Steps for Older Adults includes a balance screening and two workshops. This program is free and open to the public.
