Peter’s, we believe in the importance of developing complete, well-rounded students. We seek to prepare them spiritually, personally, and academically. t they teach Christian character values throughout the day. Through our small class sizes, our dedicated teachers, and close family atmosphere, we strive to continue the tradition of excellence. Peter’s exists to assist parents in their God-given responsibility of educating their children by providing a high-quality Christian and academic program that is enhanced by balancing a variety of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Our students are given many opportunities to give back to their community and various charities by doing hands on service projects that show them the importance of loving their neighbors. I have had the privilege of being a faculty member here at St. Peter’s for over 30 years; seeing many students pass through our doors. I love watching each individual grow not only academically, but in his/her faith, as well. It is exciting to see how well our graduates do at the high school and collegiate levels. I am proud to say that we have had and continue to have many past students who choose to send their own children and grandchildren to St. I graciously extend an invitation to those who share a desire to see their children challenged academically in a positive Christian environment, to join us on our walk with Jesus. Many opportunities await us as we, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

St. Peter’s Annual Basket Auction (same day as our end of the year program and picnic)

Mark your calendars: Sunday, June 7. Tickets will be on sale from 9:00 am-4:00 pm in the new school hallway. Winners will be announced on Monday, June 8 with pickup throughout the day.

At this time, we are accepting donations: completed baskets, items for baskets, gift cards and/or monetary donations to buy items. We are always appreciative of the generosity. This is a fun and successful event for us.

It’s Chicken BBQ day! What a beautiful weather day for a BBQ. 🍗 It’s a great night to not have to cook as we watch our Buffalo Sabres 💛🏒💙 and see who the Buffalo Bills ❤️🏈💙select in the first round of the draft!

If you bought tickets, bring them with you when you drive thru. Dinner will be brought to you. We have some tickets left, so let us know if you need any. 716-731-4422.

$15 per dinner. We can put in will call for you and you pay (cash or check) when you come. We usually sell out so buy ahead!

JOB OPENING:
Full-time General Education Teacher

St. Peter’s Lutheran School is currently accepting resumes for teaching positions for the 2026-2027 school year. The position currently available is for Middle School. However, other positions may become available.

We are looking for qualified teachers with the skills that will help us maintain our high academic standards in WNY. General qualifications include a desire to see children reach their potential in not only academic areas, but to also help them recognize and develop the gifts God has blessed each with. Candidates should show a willingness to help nurture Christian Character Development in the children we are blessed to teach. Good classroom management skills are a requirement.

GENERAL EDUCATION TEACHER: Certification: New York Teacher Certification in Early Childhood, Elementary, and or Middle School Education is preferred. However, any NYS or other State’s Teacher Certification in any subject area will be considered.

We are a Christian Day School; PK-8th Grade; Grades 5-8 are often departmentalized by subject area.

Duties: To teach General Education as well as any additional subjects/grades as needed. This position is for five days a week: 8:00 am-3:15 pm for the 2026-2027 school year. Salary will be determined by experience.

Chiavetta’s Chicken BBQ drive-through will be held on Thursday, April 23 from 4 to 6 pm at St. Peter’s Lutheran School. 6168 Walmore Road, Sanborn. $15 per dinner to benefit the school. Please join us!

Tickets can be purchased at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church on April 12 and April 19th or by calling the school office: 716-731-4422.

Each meal contains chicken, baked potato, corn, roll, and brownie.

Our annual Meat Raffle is Saturday, March 14th at the Sanborn Fire Hall, 5811 Buffalo Street, Sanborn, NY 14132.

Tickets are $15 each or $100 for a table of 8. Buy now before we are sold out. DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FROM ANYONE YOU DO NOT PERSONALLY KNOW!!

Tickets are being sold through the school office (716-731-4422) or at St. Peter's Lutheran Church on Sunday, February 8th and 15th, or call/text Courtney Retzlaff at 716-531-0244. We cannot guarantee that there will be tickets available at the door.

Doors open at 6 pm with the first spin at 7 pm. Beer, wine & pop is included. There is limited pizza for sale.

Bring your own snacks. Bring Dollar Bills. No outside beverages.

We will have Door Prizes. Large Ticket Items Raffle. 50/50 Raffle.

This is a 21 year and older event.
