What a Sunday. 🔥

This Labor Day weekend, we were reminded that God is still looking for people who are hungry for Him—and that hunger was on full display at LifePoint.

In our morning services, Pastor Christy challenged us through “Known by Your Fruit,” reminding us that the fruit of our lives reveals what we are connected to.

“The product will always reveal what the source is.”

We aren’t called to manufacture spiritual fruit through our own effort. When we abide in Jesus, His life begins to produce something through us. The question is: What is your life connected to, and what is it producing?

Worship was powerful as we sang “For Christ Alone” together for the first time. There was such a strong sense of surrender and hunger in the room.

We also had the privilege of recognizing Heather, who has faithfully served as our Director of Prayer Ministries. We announced that she is now Pastor of Prayer Ministries, recognizing the pastoral function and role she has already been faithfully operating in. We are so thankful for her leadership and faithfulness in building a culture of prayer at LifePoint. 🙏

And then came Encounter Night.

What happened in that room was incredibly powerful. Worship went to another level—joy, freedom, surrender, and people giving everything they had to God. We heard powerful testimonies from the Men’s Retreat and celebrated what God has been doing in the lives of men and families.

Then, at the end of the night, we opened the altar for healing—and more testimonies began coming out of what God was doing.

And here’s what stands out:

It was Labor Day weekend, and both our morning services AND Encounter Night were well attended.

People are hungry for God.

Now is the time. Not the time to retreat. Not the time to settle for church as usual. This is the time to bring people into the freedom that comes from a life completely surrendered to Jesus.

There is a hunger rising. Let’s keep pursuing His presence, keep making room for encounter, and keep inviting people to experience the freedom found in Christ.

The harvest is ready. 🔥

🔥 One of our prayers as a church is that we would never lose our hunger for the presence of God.

Revival isn't just an event—it's a lifestyle of continually seeking Jesus.

What is one practical way you're pursuing God this week?

Maybe it's spending more time in prayer, reading Scripture, worshiping, fasting, serving, or simply slowing down long enough to listen.
