The Kingdom & The Spirit

Sunday, Robert reminded us that God is still building His Kingdom—and He is still building us.

His purpose is more than our success or comfort. He is shaping us into the likeness of Jesus—not simply through greater effort, but through deeper connection to Him.

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you.” —John 15:4

As we remain in Christ, the Holy Spirit shapes our hearts and makes His character visible in our lives. Our plumbline is the Cross of Christ—not culture, popularity, or success.

As we begin KINGDOMS, we’ll encounter victories, failures, and God’s faithfulness through it all. But before we meet those kings, let’s remember our King.

Jesus is still building His Kingdom—and He isn’t finished with us yet.

Jesus is the King of this Kingdom. He has been since the beginning. When we live our lives for the purpose of Christ we become part of the building team. Pretty cool, eh?

We gathered as one church family to worship, pray, and encourage one another in faith. Moments like these remind us of the power of community and the blessing of seeking God together.

What if it’s more than failure—what if it’s identity theft?

The enemy wants to steal your God-given identity and convince you that your mistakes are who you are. But what you’ve done is not who you are. God defines you.
This Sunday, Peter’s story reminds us that failure doesn’t have the final say—Jesus’ love does. His love restores, redeems, and calls us back to purpose.

What an incredible adventure as our kids learned more about God’s Kingdom through worship, Bible lessons, games, crafts, and fellowship! We’re so thankful for every child, volunteer, and family who helped make Kingdom Quest a joyful and unforgettable experience.

What a beautiful Sunday at Church of the Valley! 🙌🏽

From heartfelt worship and warm fellowship to the joyful presence of our Kingdom Quest students and leaders, we were reminded that the church is more than a building—it is a family united by faith and love.

Pastor continued our new series, “Holy Spirit Pivot,” with the message “When God Confronts Our Direction.” Sometimes God interrupts our plans because He is leading us toward His greater purpose. May we remain sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit and willing to follow wherever He leads.

Thank you to everyone who worshiped with us, welcomed our guests, served faithfully, and helped make Sunday so special. We are grateful for every generation and every culture represented in our church family!

We can’t wait to see you again next Sunday! ❤️
