🙌 Youth Takeover at Church of the Valley! 🙌
"And a little child shall lead them." Scripture told us it would happen, and this morning we got to witness it firsthand. đź’›
Our youth completely took over the morning service — and they didn't just participate, they ran the whole thing. From the first song to the final amen, they led worship with a passion that filled the room and lifted every heart. But it didn't stop at the stage. These young people handled all the operations behind the scenes too — sound, slides, greeting, logistics, the works. Everything that usually happens quietly in the background was carried by their hands today, and they did it with such joy and dedication.
There's something deeply moving about watching the next generation step into leadership. It reminds us that faith isn't just passed down — it's picked up, carried forward, and made new again by those coming behind us.
Pastor Robert followed with a powerful message that spoke right to the heart of the morning. And afterward, we did what this church family does best — we gathered around the table, broke bread together, and fellowshipped over a shared meal. Laughter, full plates, and full hearts. 🍽️
To our youth: thank you. You blessed us today more than you know. The future of Church of the Valley is in good hands, and that future is bright. ✨
We'd love to see you next Sunday — come be part of this family!

Hi COV families and friends!

Same sanctuary.
Same worship.
Same message.
Yet we can leave seeing God completely differently.

So… how do I see God?

This Sunday we kick off our new series as we ask a few questions How do I see…? Starting with who God truly is—and how our view of Him shapes the way we live, trust, worship, and relate to others.
Come expectant and bring a friend!

Happy Mother’s Day from Church of the Valley 🌸

Sunday, we celebrated the incredible mothers, grandmothers, daughters, and women who pour love, strength, wisdom, and faith into the lives around them. From heartfelt moments in worship to smiles shared throughout the day, it was a beautiful reminder of the impact godly women make in our church and community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Mother's Day so special — from the welcoming team to the families who gathered together in celebration. We are grateful for every story, every prayer, and every act of love represented.

Tomorrow we pause to honor, celebrate, and give thanks—for the women who have shaped our lives with love, strength, and faith.
Mother’s Day is more than a moment of appreciation… it’s an invitation to reflect on the heart of God—His nurturing, sacrificial, and steadfast love for each of us.
We’re especially excited to hear from our very own Maame Afon Yelbert-Sai, who will be bringing the message and sharing what the Lord has placed on her heart for this special day.
Whether you’re celebrating, remembering, or walking through a different kind of day, you are seen and deeply loved.
Join us tomorrow as we come together in worship, encouragement, and truth.Bring your family, invite a friend—there’s a place for everyone.

A powerful time of prayer, unity, and faith during the National Day of Prayer at COV.
Church of the Valley gathered together to pray for our communities, leaders, families, churches, and nation — standing in faith and believing in the power of prayer to bring hope, healing, wisdom, and encouragement. Throughout the gathering, people came together in worship, reflection, and heartfelt prayer, creating a meaningful atmosphere centered on faith and connection.
Moments like these remind us that prayer is more than a tradition — it is a way for people to unite, support one another, and seek God together. From quiet moments of personal prayer to groups joining hand in hand, the day reflected compassion, humility, and the strength found in community.
Grateful to capture these authentic moments of faith and fellowship at COV during the National Day of Prayer.

Leadership, vision, and community coming together at the COV Leadership Meeting.

Church of the Valley leaders gathered for a time of encouragement, collaboration, and meaningful conversation focused on strengthening the mission and impact of the church. From shared meals and one-on-one conversations to teaching sessions and group discussions, the meeting created space for connection, growth, and leadership development.

Moments like these reflect the heart behind ministry — people coming together to serve, support one another, and lead with wisdom, humility, and purpose. The atmosphere was filled with thoughtful discussion, authentic relationships, and a shared commitment to investing in people and building a stronger community.

Grateful to capture the conversations, leadership moments, and behind-the-scenes connections that help shape the future of COV.

The COV Youth Group spent time rehearsing and preparing to lead the congregation in worship, using their gifts and talents to serve with purpose and passion. From vocals to acoustic guitar, every moment reflected teamwork, dedication, and a heart for creating an atmosphere focused on worship and connection.

These rehearsals are more than practice sessions — they are opportunities for students to grow in confidence, leadership, and faith while learning what it means to serve together. Watching this young team step onto the stage with authenticity and humility is a powerful reminder that worship is not about perfection, but about creating space for people to encounter God.

Excited to see the next generation stepping forward and making an impact at Church of the Valley.
