We are moving through Elul, closer to the Days of Awe, this weekend was particularly meaningful as we started on Friday with High Holiday Boot Camp with Rabbi Julia Knobloch at San Pedro Farmer's San Pedro Farmers Market; and on Saturday evening we came together for a beautiful Selichot.

With smiles and warmth, readings, a film and food, our community observed Selichot, the spiritual gateway to the High Holy Daysโ€”a sacred time of prayer, music, and reflection. Through traditional and contemporary readings, we look inward, seek forgiveness, and prepare our hearts for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur with hope and renewal.

The High Holy Days are always more meaningful when shared, and we'd love to welcome them into our TBE Family this year. Opening our doors during the Days of Awe, is one of the most meaningful ways we can show up as a community.

Shofar, so good! How much are we all also enjoying the cooler temps and breeze? Join Rabbi Julia Knobloch for High Holidays Bootcamp, tomorrow, Fridays, 11a-1p at the San Pedro Farmers Market. It's fun, you can ask anything, and you can shop at the wonderful local food and craft booths.
