Anchored Women of CCSP

Anchored Women of CCSP "Anchored Women is a ministry of The Anchor: Calvary Chapel San Pedro.

The Mission & Vision of WoW is to faithfully teach the Word of God to the women of CCSP in order that they will be firmly anchored in Jesus Christ. We seek to equip the women of CCSP to grow in their faith so that they will be fruitful and victorious in their Christian walk. As a result they will be strong in their relationship with Christ and as such, that His love will flow from them to others.

The women's ministry will also support and encourage each other with the love of God and seek to reach the lost and hurting, making disciples, and bringing glory to God by fulfilling the great commission and advancing His kingdom.

I John 5:16-17...

"If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death."

Why is prayer in the life of the believer so important? What do we pray? Who do we pray for? What is a sin that leads unto death and why are we commanded NOT to pray for those involved in that sin?

Come find out the answers to these questions Sunday as we finish the first letter of John.

"And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God." - I John 5:11-13

John brings us the greatest eternal truth of perhaps the entire Scripture in our text this coming Sunday. Don't miss it!
