Living into a Greater Reality:
An Online Course in Shamanic Spiritual Resources for Christians

This highly interactive and experiential six-session online course, of two hours each session, will orient participants to a shamanic understanding of reality, and how healing and discernment practices commonly used in shamanism are beneficial and complimentary to Christian living and our faith tradition.
The course will be taught in two class sections in Fall 2026--
Sunday schedule: 3:00-5:00 Pacific/4-6 Mountain/5-7 Central/6-8 Eastern
Dates: 10/4, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/15, 11/22
Tuesday schedule: 4:00-6:00 Pacific/5-7 Mountain/6-8 Central/7-9 Eastern
Dates: 9/22, 10/6, 10/20, 11/3, 11/17, 12/1
I am very excited to offer this course online in the fall of 2026. When I was introduced to core shamanism ten years ago, it was a paradigm shift with profound implications for my faith life, spiritual practices, and theology. Core shamanism is not a religion but provides cross-cultural methods for entering and effectively engaging spiritual realities usually hidden from our normal consciousness. It confirms the mystical dimension of my Christian experience and reflects the love of God at work in our lives. I knew that many Christians could benefit from foundational assistance and guidance into the spirit dimensions of reality long known in shamanism and traditional Indigenous cultures that had been closed to our western minds for centuries.
After writing the book Soul Journeys in collaboration with two other spiritual directors, John Mabry and Katrina Leathers, on core shamanism and Christian spiritual practices I received requests from fellow Christians to learn more.
