Grace Church of the Bay Area

Grace Church of the Bay Area Practicing and Proclaiming the Purity of Biblical Truth Grace Bay Area is a new independent evangelical church plant in San Mateo County pastored by Roger Chen.

Grace meets in Burlingame, CA and exists to glorify God by ministering to the Central Peninsula and greater Bay Area. Our goal is to cut through the temptation to "play church" and give into societal pressures by "Practicing and Proclaiming the Purity of Biblical Truth." Pastor Roger received his theological and ministry training as a student at The Master's Seminary and as a staff member at Grace

Community Church (pastored by John MacArthur) in Southern California. He later went on to receive his doctorate in expository preaching from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Before moving back to his native Bay Area, Roger spent 6 years as a missionary in Eastern Europe serving as a pastor, seminary professor, and Bible institute dean.
