Have you ever heard of Shoes For Orphan Souls hosted by Buckner? They have donated a brand new pair of shoes and socks for every kid at the Providence International school in Kenya! our Kenya Mission Team will be transporting them to Eldoret! What a blessing this will be!

Also a huge shout out to Anthony Modesto for picking them up and meeting along I-35 to hand off. It’s an act of love and sacrifice to travel down I-35!

This was not an opportunity sought. It was a yes to a request made to me (Monica Followell) by the Baptist Standard.

This is a testimony of call, not a story of chasing a title or forcing open a door, or climbing a ladder. It is a testimony of quietly, faithfully, and courageously saying yes to Jesus again and again — through missions, motherhood, hardship, discernment, and years of faithful service to the church.

I’m also thankful for a church family that has affirmed my calling and given me room to serve, lead, and continue becoming who God has called me to be.

My prayer is that this will help others in saying yes to Jesus without any expectation where He might lead!

The Panama mission trip was incredible! The team worked and served hard, distributed over 150 glasses to patients, taught local teachers and coaches CPR, and engaged in deep and meaningful conversations. The greatest honor was bringing Missionary, Jane Gruver (The Mola Lady), home alongside her husband, Dr. Daniel I. Gruver. They are buried in the courtyard of the hospital they established and the only two to be buried on the island.

The Panama Mission trip is off to a GREAT start! They are in Aligandi and hope to be able to share even more of what God is doing there. Continue to pray for them as they share the Good News and minister to the needs to the people there!
