UCM Texas State helps college students explore God’s purpose in their lives, form authentic friendships, and grow spiritually in the love of Jesus. The UCM is a multi-denominational ministry partnership of The United Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ. That said, our students come from a wide variety of church (or even no church) backgrounds.

We had a fun and faithful time participating in the Río Texas Conference of The United Methodist Church annual gathering in Corpus Christi. We represented college ministry, participated in worship, connected with other young adults, enjoyed time at the beach, and celebrated Pastor Bonnie’s ordination as a deacon!

UCM is a multi-denominational college ministry at Texas State University where all people can explore and live into the love of Jesus!

MISSION SERVE WEEK
We linked up with 70 college students for a UMARMY mission trip in Corpus Christi building ramps, repairing homes, and restoring spaces for local nonprofits.

In between the work, we worshiped, made new friends, and caught some time to recharge at the beach. This is what we love: putting faith into action and helping people live better lives!

STUDY SNACKS!
Our students are grateful for the support during finals season, including study snacks from the United Methodist Women and finals bags with supplies and encouragement from First Lutheran Church as well as Upper Room Sunday School at First United Methodist Church. Blessings for wisdom, perseverance, and remember - the love of Jesus always grades on a curve!
