We’re continuing our Marked series with a message called “Marked by Generosity” from Gospel of Mark 10:17–31.

In a world that tells us to hold tightly to what we have, Jesus invites us to live with open hands and an eternal perspective. We’d love for you to join us as we explore what it means to be marked by generosity.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women in our Mission 316 family. 💐

Today we celebrate the moms, grandmas, spiritual moms, mentors, caregivers, and women who show up every week loving, serving, encouraging, praying, and making a difference in the lives around them.

You are seen. You are valued. You are deeply appreciated.

We’re so thankful for the strength, compassion, wisdom, and faith you bring to our church family. ❤️

The rich young ruler had everything…

Success.
Morality.
Status.
Wealth.

But when Jesus asked him to surrender what he valued most… he walked away sad.

Jesus wasn’t after his money.
He was after his heart.

This Sunday we’re talking about generosity, surrender, and what it really means to follow Jesus.

We don’t usually talk about divorce like this in church.

It’s often framed as failure. As caution. As something to quietly carry.
But what about the stories marked by pain… by betrayal… by survival?

What about the people who didn’t want it—but had to choose it?

Tomorrow, Pastor Allen shares a personal message that approaches this topic with honesty, grace, and compassion.
Not to justify. Not to shame. But to understand.

Because sometimes the most Christlike response isn’t condemnation—it’s seeing people clearly in their pain.
