Today we’re celebrating Pastor Allen and the heart he brings to Mission 316!

Pastoring is about so much more than delivering a message on Sunday. It’s walking alongside people through life’s joys and challenges, offering encouragement, sharing God’s Word, and faithfully loving the people God has placed in your care.

We’re grateful for Allen’s love for Jesus, his heart for people, and his passion for helping others grow in their faith.

GOAL-DIRECTED
Philippians 3:12–16

We all have things behind us we wish we could change—and things ahead of us we’re still hoping to reach.

But sometimes yesterday’s regrets and tomorrow’s distractions keep us from being fully present in what God is doing today.

This Sunday, we continue Forward: A Journey Through Philippians with Goal-Directed.

Paul reminds us that following Jesus isn’t about having already arrived. It’s about continuing to grow—letting go of what’s behind, reaching toward what’s ahead, and keeping our eyes fixed on what matters most.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to keep moving forward.

EVER-CHANGING
Philippians 2:12–30

Change.

Sometimes we welcome it. Sometimes we resist it. And sometimes we know we need it—but don’t know where to begin.

One thing is certain: you can’t have growth without change.

This Sunday, we continue Forward: A Journey Through Philippians with Ever-Changing.

Following Jesus isn’t just about moving forward. It’s about growing—and that means allowing God to keep changing us.

In Philippians 2, Paul helps us wrestle with three important questions:

• WHO TO CHANGE — Why does real change have to begin with me?
• HOW TO CHANGE — What’s my part, and what’s God’s part?
• WHAT TO CHANGE — How do I recognize the attitudes and behaviors that need to change?

The good news is that God doesn’t expect us to do this alone. He is already at work within us, giving us both the desire and the ability to do what pleases Him.
