Apparently today is Pastor’s Spouse Appreciation Sunday… which is slightly awkward when the pastor’s spouse is also the person who runs the social media. 😂

So, yes. I appear to be making my own appreciation post. Nothing to see here. 😂

But it did get me thinking about pastors’ spouses everywhere. They pray, encourage, listen, love people, fill gaps and carry a lot that most people never see. And many also serve, lead, teach, organize, create, counsel, administrate, make music—or carry callings and careers entirely their own.

Being married to a pastor doesn’t define a person’s calling. It simply means ministry is something a family experiences together.

So here’s to pastors’ spouses everywhere. May you be known not only for who you married, but for who God made you to be. Appreciated for the support you give, the sacrifices you make, and for the gifts, calling and person you are. ❤️

Sometimes the road from here to there doesn’t go the way we expected.

We make plans. We choose a direction. We think we know where we’re headed.

And then the storm hits.

This Sunday, we continue our UNCHARTED series with Paul’s dramatic journey through the storm and shipwreck of Acts 27.
Paul couldn’t control the storm. He couldn’t see how the story would end. But he knew what God had said—and he trusted Him.

What do we hold onto when our plans start falling apart? How do we keep trusting God when we can’t see how we’re going to get from here to there?

Join us this Sunday as we discover what faith looks like when the road ahead runs straight through a storm.

Sometimes the road from here to there doesn't go the way we expected.

We make plans. We choose a direction. We think we know where we're headed.

And then the storm hits.

This Sunday, we continue our Uncharted series with one of the most dramatic stories in the New Testament: Paul's journey through a violent storm and shipwreck in Acts 27.

Paul knew where he was going. What he couldn't have known was everything that would happen along the way.

For days, the ship was battered by the storm. The crew lost control. They threw cargo overboard. Eventually, Luke tells us, “all hope that we would be saved was finally given up.”

But Paul hadn't given up.

Not because the storm wasn't real.

Not because he knew exactly how everything would work out.

But because God had spoken—and Paul trusted Him.

And that's where Paul's story meets ours.

What do you do when circumstances are beyond your control?

What do you hold onto when the plans you made start falling apart?

And how do you keep trusting God when you can't see how you're going to get from here to there?
