CCMH Church is devoted to worshiping Jesus Christ through teaching the Bible verse-by-verse, worshiping in dynamic music and song, and especially, loving people. We meet Sunday mornings at 10:30 am at 456 Mission Rd. Suite #130, San Marcos, CA 92069. We would love to have you join us! know Christ and to be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe the Bible is the Word of God inspired and without error in It's original manuscripts. It is our only source of authority in matters of faith, conduct and truth. We believe there is one eternal God, personal and knowable who manifests Himself in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is worthy of our worship, confidence and obedience. We believe Jesus is the eternal, pre-existent Son of God. He willingly took on the body of a man, was virgin-born, became our sinless substitute, shed His blood on the cross to completely pay for the atonement of our sins. We believe He died, was buried, resurrected in a literal body, ascended into Heaven, and is presently our advocate and only High Priest. We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict the lost, seal the believer and place him or her in the Body of Christ. The fruit of the Holy Spirit in one's life is love. We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit, but we do not believe that any special gift is a necessary evidence of salvation or of being filled with the Spirit. We believe every person is born with a sinful nature, is spiritually dead and cannot please God until Christ gives him life. We believe salvation from sin, death, and hell is by God's grace. It must be received by faith apart from any human performance or merit. It is a free gift of God to one who personally places his confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross. We believe a truly born again person is secure in Christ. We believe that all believers should assemble in local churches for mutual edification, encouragement, evangelism, service and worship. Within our fellowship, as an act of obedience to the Word of God, we share our love of Christ through participation in the signs of the New Covenant: The Lord's Supper and Baptism by immersion in water.

"Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ? Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all share the one loaf." ~ 1 Corinthians 10:16–17

The Lord’s Supper reminds us that we are united with Christ and with one another. Though we are many different people, we belong to one Savior, share one faith, and are members of one body.

When we receive the bread and cup, may we examine ouselves, repent, and remember Christ’s sacrifice, celebrate His grace, and pursue unity with His people.

"Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth. Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; A stranger, and not your own lips." ~ Proverbs 27:1-2 NKJV

Solomon gives us two sharp warnings in two verses.

The first warning is about the way we think about the future. We plan. We say, "Tomorrow I will do this, tomorrow I will achieve that." But we don't own tomorrow. We don't even own the next hour. God does. Only God holds the days. Humility begins when we admit that.

The second warning is about the way we present ourselves. Self-praise feels good for a moment, but it cheapens us. A wise person lets others speak well of them. The fool speaks well of himself. It displays a prideful heart.

Boast in God, not in yourself. Plan with open minds, knowing God holds the final word. Let your life speak so clearly that you never need to speak of yourself.

Therefore I urge you, imitate me.

Paul wasn't boasting. He was inviting. He was saying: Watch how I walk. Watch how I trust. Watch how I hold on through the hard ti.es. Watch how I repent when I stumble. Watch hownI lean into God’s grace, and do the same.

That's not arrogance. That's discipleship. The world is watching. Our kids are watching. Our friends are watching. Our church is watching. The question isn't whether someone is following our example, it's whether our example leads them to Jesus.

Let's live lives worth imitating. Not because we're perfect, but because we're His. Let's lean on the Spirit to lead us into Christlikenss.

“Concerning this temple which you are building, if you walk in My statutes, execute My judgments, keep all My commandments, and walk in them, then I will perform My word with you, which I spoke to your father David. And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake My people Israel.” ~ I Kings 6:12-13 NKJV

When Solomon was building the Temple, God interrupted the construction to remind him of something critical, the building wasn't the point. The presence was. God said, "If you walk in My statutes… then I will dwell among the children of Israel." According to Strongs, the Hebrew word for "dwell" is shakan, the root behind Shekinah, the manifest presence of God. He wasn't talking about His omnipresence. He was talking about His covenant presence among a people who walk with Him.

We lead people into the presence of God. But we can't lead others where we haven't been ourselves. This passage is a reminder that our walk with God matters, not just on Sunday,, but all week. The songs we sing, the hearts we bring, the lives we live, they all matter. God's promises are sure. But our experience of His presence is shaped by our obedience.

God dwells permanently with His people through the Holy Spirit. The Shekinah presence that once filled the Temple now lives inside every believer. But the call to obedience hasn't changed. Jesus said in John 15:10, "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love." The "if/then" promise is still there. NOT for salvation, but for intimacy and fruitfulness, the promise remains.

"Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease! Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away like an eagle toward heaven." ~ Proverbs 23:4-5 NKJV

God’s Word does not condemn honest work or responsible provision. But it does warn us not to exhaust ourselves pursuing wealth as though money can secure our future, satisfy our souls, or give us lasting significance.

Riches are temporary. They can disappear through economic hardship, unexpected expenses, poor decisions, or simply the passing of time. What seems solid today can be gone tomorrow, “like an eagle” suddenly taking flight.

“Earn all you can, save all you can, give all you can.” ~ John Wesley

“God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.” ~ John Piper

The issue is not merely how much we possess, but what possesses us. When money becomes our master, we sacrifice our peace, our relationships, our health, and sometimes even our obedience to God in its pursuit.

Work diligently. Manage wisely. Give generously. But never build your life on something that can grow wings and fly away.

If your treasure is only on earth, your security will always be temporary; but if your treasure is in God, your foundation will never move.
