A few after sesshin pictures, though only about half of the group. We got a lot of off the cusshion work done as well. Weeding, tree trimming, digging trenches for the new casita plumbing, putting new cabinets together, lots if cleaning...and the dogs got extra pets too....

Thanks everyone for a strong and steady August 8-day sesshin, in the midst of the heatwave! (Glad we have AC). We even had to add cushions, when part timers joined. Many thanks to everyone who stayed till Sunday and helped with cleanup, and Ungaku for arriving a day early to help, and with home made sarei treats! Still not good at making time to take pictures, but caught at least part of the group. Soon we will have our reworking weekend sesshin of September. Till then, please keep the momentum going and join us in person or via zoom. 🙏

Grateful the fire departement got this under control quickly. Just over the hill from us, less than a mile away. They had 3 planes and 2 helicopters in the air and the fire was contained at 3 acres. So grateful! A neighbor shared pictures from her side...
