Why did I do it? Because I wanted to pass on the one thing that would matter most no matter how old they got or how far from home they wandered — intimacy with God, and learning to hear His voice through His Word. Pop told me all my growing up years: “You’re as close to Jesus as you want to be.”

23 volunteers. One neighborhood. A whole lot of love. ❤️

Today our Adopt A Block team brought free beautification to the neighborhood around The Father’s House — serving, cleaning, encouraging, and showing the love of Jesus in practical ways.

And one of the most special moments? Christina Bustamante, a neighbor we first met during our very first Adopt A Block, has now become family! She, along with her family, spent her birthday serving and giving back to her neighbors. 🎉

Now THAT’S the heart of a servant.
That’s the heart of Jesus.

We don’t just want to go to church…
We want to BE the church. 🙌 We ❤️ North County!

With Barna reporting that over half of Christians admit to using po*******hy, is a healthy sexual relationship within marriage even possible anymore? The answer is a whole-hearted yes but, it starts with honesty. What am I feeding and what am I starving?

6 years ago today, we arrived from Oahu to pastor The Father’s House in the middle of COVID. When the world was shutting down and nobody was going out, our church family showed up at our house with food, cleaning supplies, and helping hands to unload our PODS.

That generosity and love made us feel at home from day one. ❤️

Thank you, , for 6 years of abounding in love toward everyone we meet. That spirit is what will continue to help us reach North County in the years ahead.
