This Sunday, we begin a brand-new sermon series: “A Different Gospel.”
Not every message that sounds spiritual is the Gospel Jesus gave us. This week, we’ll look at the dangers of the legalistic gospel and the prosperity gospel, and why Paul gave such strong warnings about anything that distorts the truth.

Bringing People to Jesus: The Power of the Gospel

The Gospel doesn’t just change what we believe—it changes how we live. In this message, we look at Romans 6:1–4 and Acts 2:1–11 to see how believing the Gospel breaks the power of sin and empowers us to be witnesses for Jesus.

Our testimony is seen both corporately as the Church and personally in our everyday lives. We witness to others through a life of contentment, graceful communication, and a fruitful walk that reflects the transforming power of Christ.

The Gospel is not just a message we hear—it is the power of God that changes lives.

In this message, Pastor Will shares how God demonstrates His power through the Gospel, how faith in Jesus breaks the power of sin, and how the Gospel gives us the courage and purpose to share Christ with others.

Romans 6 reminds us that through Christ, we are no longer called to live as slaves to sin. We have been given new life, a new identity, and the freedom to live for God.

And when the Gospel changes us, it also gives us something worth sharing. We are called to take the good news of Jesus beyond the walls of the church and help bring people to Him.

This Sunday, we continue our series, The Unconventional Journey — The Life of Joseph, and look at how God was working through Joseph’s life even when the road was difficult, unexpected, and far from what he may have imagined.
