Your strength will increase day by day.
Those words from Deuteronomy impacted me deeply when I translated them, and I want you to receive them personally today.
Your strength will increase day by day.
Not only physical strength. I believe this reaches into our emotional life, our spiritual life, our relationships, and the quiet inner places where we sometimes wonder whether we have enough left to keep going.
God wants to impart strength to you today.
Maybe you woke up already tired. Maybe something is in front of you that feels very difficult.
Maybe there is a conversation you do not want to have, a responsibility that feels heavy, a family situation that has stretched your heart, or simply a weariness you cannot quite explain.
You do not have to manufacture strength.
Strength and power come from the presence of God.
There is a supply of divine power for the challenges of this day. God is not surprised by what is waiting for you.
He has not sent you into the day alone.
He will walk you through it with supernatural grace.
I love that Scripture says our inner being is being renewed day by day. Every single day.
The Lord is doing something inside of us that is deeper than what we can see on the surface.
Our outer world may feel unpredictable. Our emotions may rise and fall.
But the cross keeps working in us. Grace keeps renewing us. The Holy Spirit keeps strengthening us.
Today is loaded with God's grace.
I want you to think about that phrase for a moment.
Loaded with grace.
What if you stopped looking at today as a container full of problems and began seeing it as a day already filled with divine supply?
There may be speed bumps. There may be obstacles.
But God wants to drench you with strength and power today.
David said that God prepares a table even when we are surrounded by enemies.
The presence of pressure does not mean the absence of provision.
Sometimes the table is prepared right in the middle of what would normally make us afraid.
And every day there is a new mercy kiss on your soul.
Receive it.
Let the Lord wrap His mighty arms around you today.
Dare I say it - let Him hug you.
Let the beloved of the Lord feel the embrace of God.
We can pray together:
"Father, renew us today. Let our faith be strong. Walk us through this day with supernatural grace. In the struggle, in the difficulty, You are faithful and You are strong. Wrap Your mighty arms around us. Let everything we do today pour out of the love of Christ, not out of our own flesh and not out of our own striving."
You are not walking into this day empty.
You are walking into it with a promise:
Your strength will increase day by day.
If you are carrying someone else today - a child, a spouse, a friend, a team, a family member - remember that His strength is not only enough for your private inner world.
Grace can flow through you into the relationships around you.
Ask Him to strengthen your words, your patience, your listening, and your tenderness.
A strong heart in the kingdom is not a hard heart.
It is a heart upheld by God, able to remain soft because it is not surviving on its own resources.
Let divine strength make you more loving, not merely more productive.
With love,
Brian Simmons
