In response to the overwhelming need of parents and families, Jim Burns founded HomeWord in 1985. There is an amazing stirring amongst families and leaders today toward building strong marriages, confident parents, empowered kids, and healthy leaders. However, HomeWord is uniquely positioned on the front lines and in the trenches to equip parents and restore families that are under siege. HomeWord

seeks to advance the work of God in the world by educating, equipping, and encouraging parents and churches to build God-honoring families from generation to generation. We believe in creating:

Strong Marriages- Our goal is to be a global leader in the area of strengthening couples in their marriages and in preparation for marriage. Confident Parents- We want more parents to have the resources they need to raise Christ-centered kids in our challenging culture. Empowered Kids- HomeWord has always focused on helping kids make right and wise decisions. Young people are the reason we exist. Healthy Leaders- Dr. Jim Burns and Doug Fields have been two of the major leaders in youth and family ministry world-wide and they are using their leadership and giftedness to help the next generation of leaders in the fields of youth and family ministry.

You don't need a packed summer. You need a purposeful one.

This post will take you less than 90 seconds to read and might completely change how your whole summer feels.
