Finishing the Task

10/24/2026

Trust always comes before truth.

Before people ask if Jesus loves them, they want to know if you love them. Before they ask if Jesus cares, they want to know if you care.

People need to see the love of Jesus in us before they are ready to hear about Him.

You can make all the plans you want, but only God's purposes last forever.

If you want to build something that outlasts your life, build it on the purposes of God.

Proverbs 19:21 reminds us that we may have many plans, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.

The Great Commission is too big for any one church organization or denomination. That is why we are working together on five big goals.

Bibles. Believers. Bodies of Christ. Breakthrough Prayer. Bridges of Love.

God’s Word for everyone. The Good News shared with everyone. A church within reach of everyone. Prayer for everyone. And the love of Christ demonstrated to everyone.

Together we can finish the task.

Throwback to the closing moment of the FTT Conference Staying the Course. Everyone got on their knees and prayed. It was such powerful experience.

Walking comes before talking.

We should not expect people to talk like mature believers before they have learned to walk with Christ.

Spiritual growth is a journey. Help people take their next step with Jesus and the words will follow.
