Dear All,
We are pleased to announce that Dhanur Masa Puja will begin on Monday, December 15th, 2025, in the evening. From Tuesday, December 16th, it will continue every morning from 6:30 am to 8:00 am and will conclude on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026.
As part of the celebrations,

Nooru Thada Utsavam & Andal Kalyanotsavam
Date: Saturday, January 10th, 2026
Time: 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM (followed by lunch)
1) Sponsorship Amount: $300 per silver vessel, which will be given to the sponsors after the Utsavam along with the prasadam.
(If you do not want to keep the vessel, you can donate it for temple use. You can also sponsor multiple vessels.)
2) Dhanurmasa Puja: $100 (Morning puja from Dec 15th–Jan 13th on a day of your choice, along with prasadam.)
3) Andal Kalyanotsavam: $116

Significance of Nooru Thada Utsavam
On the 27th day of the sacred month of Margazhi, we celebrate the Koodarai Vellum Seer Govinda Utsavam, during which 100 silver vessels filled with sweet Pongal (akkara adisil) and butter are offered to the Lord.
This celebration honors:
The fulfillment of Andal’s promise to the Lord, later upheld by Acharya Ramanuja.
The pasuram in which Andal expresses her desire for unification with the Divine.
It is believed that participation in this Utsavam can bless those seeking marriage with a suitable match and those desiring children with progeny, as well as bestow blessings for education, employment, and overall well-being.
