Did you know that not only will God sustain you, He will also restore your soul? Last week I was extremely exhausted and I began questioning my beliefs - I wasn’t questioning God or Jesus or anything like that, I was questioning principles. Then I read in Psalm 23 a version of the Bible which says “He restoreth my soul” I needed that. As you rest, He will aid you in bringing your faith back to you, He will refresh you, He will restore you - not just at the flesh level, at the soul level. ❤️❤️

The SUMMER SONG

It's the most wonderful time of the year
With the kids happy and yelling
And everyone telling you "Be of good cheer"

It's the most wonderful time of the year

It's the hap-happiest summer of all
With those out of school greetings and impromptu meetings
When friends come to call

It's the hap-happiest season of all

There'll be barbecues for hosting
Hot dogs for roasting
And cannonballs out in the pool

There'll be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories of
Summer camp long, long ago
It's the most wonderful time of the year

There'll be much beachgoeing
And hearts will be glowing when loved ones are near

$5 4-5 Mild Italian sausages
$2 Can of diced green chilies
$.75 Can of sweet peas
$.75 Can of whole kernel sweet creamed corn
$2 Quartered baby red potatoes
$2 1lb Spaghetti
$2 1/2 Bottle (about 1 cup) Italian Salad dressing
Seasonings to taste: Salt, Pepper, Tarragon, Parmesan Cheese (topping)
Preheat oven to 400
In a large mixing bowl mix potatoes, can of drained green chilies, sausage cut into large pieces, salad dressing pour mixture into a large casserole dish and bake for 45 minutes at 400 degrees.
Take out of oven add can of drained sweet peas, and creamed corn. Mix with dish and add salt and pepper to taste plus tarragon (about a tablespoon) and any other season you might like. Put back in over for 15 minutes. Check for potatoes to be cooked through before finished cooking, put back in oven if not .
While cooling cook 1lb of spaghetti (or other noodle) al dente - around 8 minutes. When spaghetti is finished drain and mix noodles with sausage and veggies!
This dish is moist thanks to the corn and salad dressing. The chilies counter the sweet corn and so it isn’t very spicy. If I wasn’t feeding a 5 year old I would add chili flakes, mustard or curry to amplify the yummy sausage. No tomatoes needed!
