We celebrated a wonderful Pride Sunday yesterday! Unfortunately, we had numerous power issues and the virtual service may not be the quality we had hoped. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and in the UCC, we celebrated a Mental Health Awareness Sunday yesterday with a deeply meaningful service with our Rev. Shelly Wilson. Most of us are touched in various ways by mental health issues, either personally or in those we love. And yet somehow mental health remains something many of us just don't like to talk about. We have posted a service with meditations for Holy Week--Meditation and Ritual of Three Anointings from Worship Design Studio. As we will be meeting in person today, Maundy Thursday, tomorrow, Good Friday, and on Easter Sunday, we also offer this opportunity to take a breath and be mindful at home of the solemn hope of this time.
