If any young adult men or teens are interested, this is a great opportunity to learn about what it means to be a man in today's world from a Catholic perspective

Join us for Quo Vadis 2022, a high school men's retreat.

Quo Vadis is Latin for “Where are you going?” This retreat seeks to help men in high school discern their vocation. You could be called to be a husband, a religious brother, a deacon, a priest… whatever your vocation, God is calling each of us to love and to serve Him. Seek out what that calling is.

Registration is free. To register or for more information: dsj.org/quovadis

My dear St. France Cabrini Community,
When Bishop Cantú asked me to become pastor of St. Frances Cabrini last year, I was excited to go back to parish ministry, in addition to my work as chaplain of St. Francis High School and the bishop's Vicar for Priests.

I was also excited to work with Fr. James Okafor and Fr. Dang. I could not ask for a better team to minister with, responding to the pastoral needs of our parish and school.

However, since the recent death of my mother, the health issues affecting my sister and myself, coupled with the continuing effects of the pandemic, it has become evident to me that I am not able to continue to function as pastor in a way that is best for the Parish and the School.

St. Frances Cabrini deserves and needs a central leader who can dedicate his time without the burden of worrying about his health. For this reason, I have asked Bishop Cantú to give me permission to resign from the office of pastor of St. Frances Cabrini effective February 28, 2022. Bishop Cantú has graciously accepted my resignation and has appointed Fr. James Okafor as the parish administrator effective March 1, 2022 until a new pastor is chosen.

With Fr. James' consent, I shall continue to reside at the rectory of St. Frances until other provisions are made. I shall be available to help Fr. James and Fr. Vincent with sacramental ministry.

I wish to assure you of my prayers for all of you that you continue to grow in your love for God and in discipleship in the Church. May God bless you abundantly especially during this time fo the pandemic.

I ask that you please continue to pray for my sister and me as we deal with our health. Please also pray for Fr. James and Fr. Vincent as they continue to minister here to the best of their ability.

May we all grow in God's grace as we pray for our Community so that we may continue to serve God and one another.

Fr. Tony Mancuso

There are a lot of aspects of religious life I wish college students knew.

I turned to some married women for some wisdom for those of us still discerning — in particular, what they really wished single women knew.

Gratitude is the most underrated, yet powerful way to holiness, to grow closer to God.
