We had an awesome time tonight at our comeback Wednesday Night Bible Study! Romans 8 brought us a powerful reminder and reassurance that Jesus has triumphed over everything that can try to separate us from His love.

We’ll see everyone on Sunday!

Yesterday, we all unexpectedly wore black! The College and Career bond is strong.

Today's theme for Bible Study is: I Am a Child of the King. Jesus makes us full members of His family.
Let this study move you as we are reminded that we are adopted by Christ into His family.

“Now I say that as long as the heir is a child, he differs in no way from a slave, though he is the owner of everything. Instead, he is under guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. In the same way we also, when we were children, were in slavery under the elements of the world. When the time came to completion, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!” So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then God has made you an heir.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭4:1-7‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Throughout the week, keep in mind our Bible study from this Sunday: Jesus Calls. Like Simon, Andrew, James, and John, let's remember that following Jesus will require us to change directions, but the journey we take with Him leads us to an abundant and eternal life.

After John was arrested, Jesus went to Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God: “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” As he passed alongside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew, Simon’s brother, casting a net into the sea — for they were fishermen. “Follow me,” Jesus told them, “and I will make you fish for people.” Immediately they left their nets and followed him. Going on a little farther, he saw James the son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat putting their nets in order. Immediately he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.
