StJulies Food Pantry with help from the Knights of Columbus Council 6965, Faith Formation Youth, and Girl Scouts prepared 200 Christmas Meals this morning starting at 6:30am and finishing at 10:00am.

This last week Santa’s Elves aka Knights of Columbus Council 6965 delivered 600 handmade wooden toy cars to various organizations. Recipients included Parents Helping Parents, Help One Child, Teen Challenge, Catholic Charities and to Farm Workers in Watsonville. These men make the cars then spend several weeks sanding them smooth (no splinters!) and putting wheels on.

This morning starting at 6:30am, The Knights of Columbus prepared the Sullivan Center for food bags for 200 families. Thank you Ray Gandara for getting the tables out and getting food ready. A big thank you to the Knights of Columbus, Girl Scouts, Faith Formation Youth and other volunteers who filed the food bags.

Join Bishop Oscar Cantú and the St. Thomas More Society of Santa Clara County for the annual Red Mass on Thursday, October 30, 5:30 p.m. at Mission Santa Clara.

All are welcome, especially our local judges, attorneys, public officials, law faculty, law students, and their families and staff—as we pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance at the opening of the judicial year.

The 2025 St. Thomas More Award will be conferred on the Hon. Patricia M. Lucas. A dinner follows with remarks by Fr. Agbonkhianmeghe Orabator, S.J. of the Santa Clara University School of Theology and Lisa A. Kloppenberg, Law Professor & Dean Emerita of the Santa Clara Law.
