Youth Group is tomorrow!!

Who will we see there?! 🎉

Added note: students who have completed 5th grade are welcome to join youth group this summer as 6th graders! But because of VBS ages - they will participate in VBS as a VBS kiddo next week and not a helper. 😊 Also: students who have graduated high school are welcome to join through the summer months! :)

We will be debuting the new fundraising bracelets that SJUMC Youth Group picked to have made at today's Market in the Park! Come check em out!

We gave our kiddos the opportunity to sponsor ONE kiddo with COPE Ministry and they were like "why can't we sponsor them all?" So we suggested that they start fundraising and see what happens!

We gave them 4 options for silicone bracelets to sell and the one they voted on is made and ready to sell now!

We will probably be posting it online eventually but for now the first chance to grab one is this morning at Market in the Park! They also made some keychains at the last youth group meeting and those will be available at their table as well! 💙

Youth Group announcements!!

We wanna hang out with y'all three days in a row this weekend / beginning of the week!! 😉😊

Saturday May 30 --
SJ Market in the Park - 9 am-1 pm
We will be selling fundraising bracelets and the keychains y'all made at youth group in May to raise money for our child we're sponsoring with COPE Ministry! Please come and help if you're free!! (Bring a lawn chair if you want a seat - we will bring everything else!)

Sunday May 31 --
5th Sunday Youth Take Over - worship starts at 9am!
Please let Jennifer or Nancy know if you want to help with the service so we can meet you before worship!

Monday June 1 --
Youth Group 5:30-7:30 pm
We will be talking about VBS for those of you who want to volunteer, but everyone (6th - 12th grade) is welcome even if you do not volunteer for VBS!! (Reminder - helping with VBS counts towards the community service hours High School students need for graduation! 😉)

Vacation Bible School will be held June 8th through the 11th, Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm each night.

This will be for children who have just completed Kindergarten through 5th grade.

We're excited to teach your children the many ways that God is with us, no matter the situation.

Please send a white or light-colored solid T-shirt with your child on Monday night or Tuesday. They will need the shirt for Tuesday night's craft.
