I wish somebody had told me this sooner.

God's Spirit is not moved by our résumé. He is moved by our yes.

The room voted to exclude you. God included you anyway.

You don't have to look like those who went before you to carry what they carried. Different vessel. Same Spirit.

The outpouring has your name on it, not because of your qualifications, but because of His anointing.

this Sunday is not a regular Sunday.

Dr. Tyrone Partee is bringing a word from Acts 2, and it carries a message that someone in this community has been needing to hear:

Can I be honest with you for a moment?

Some of us have been bound for so long that we forgot what it feels like to walk free.

The shackles did not always come from enemies.
Some came from silence we kept too long.
Some came from rooms that told us to shrink.
Some came from grief, from betrayal, from the weight of becoming someone others could accept.

But God's word is clear:
He wants us unshackled. He wants us unchained.

Shackles off your feet.
Chains off your neck.

That is not a motivational phrase. That is a spiritual declaration.

Today I want to encourage someone who has been quietly carrying weight that was never theirs to carry.

You are allowed to put it down.
You are allowed to walk free.
God designed you for it.
