Renewal SGV

Renewal SGV (previously SGPC) is part of ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians. We aren’t perfect people, but Jesus is.

Based in San Gabriel, California, our hope at Renewal SGV is for renewal in our lives as well as in the lives of our neighbors within San Gabriel Valley through the love and renewed hope we have been given in Jesus. It is our hope that you will find a place of belonging in our community of Christ-followers wherever you are in your faith journey. That’s why we encourage you to come as you are. Our

desire is for you to engage in worship and the teaching of God’s Word, and experience connection and fellowship within our community. We are a Presbyterian ECO Church.

Last week, we were so blessed to have the Joe family join us as Dr. Joanne Jung shared the message with us. Afterwards, we celebrated her retirement with a delicious ice cream cake! We thank God for every moment we can spend with our church family. 💛

We are excited to welcome Professor Nelson King tomorrow as we engage on a “Walk Worth Watching.” Professor King has practiced and taught systems engineering for over four decades including 16 years overseas. He continues to serve within a large mission agency to equip current and future field workers who desire to use their professional skills or start businesses to engage unreached people around the world. Come join us tomorrow at 11 AM as we extend a warm welcome to Professor King!

She serves as the Associate Dean and Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. A lifelong learner with an MA from Talbot and a PhD from Fuller Seminary, she brings both academic depth and rich life experience to her teaching. We’re grateful for what will be a powerful time in God’s presence and a message that will encourage and strengthen your faith. Last Sunday, we were so grateful to celebrate the incredible mothers in our church family. 💐 Thank you to all the moms, grandmas, and mother figures who love, lead, and serve so faithfully. We loved seeing families worship together and making special memories as a church community.

Thanks to our Trustees, our South Patio has been freshly planted with beautiful flowers, a small reminder of renewal, growth, and the care that goes into nurturing something meaningful. If you find yourself on church grounds, we’d love your help in keeping them thriving—feel free to water the plants as you pass by.
