The San Gabriel Valley House Church of Christ is a 501c3 registered house church modeled after the pattern of the first century church as described in the New Testament and as can be gleaned from Christian, Jewish, and secular writings of the first two centuries. Our purpose is to teach and encourage one another to grow in the Christian faith and to do the work Christ gave to His church to preach
the Good News of God’s saving graces. We actively support the teaching of the Gospel of Christ in the San Gabriel Valley area and surrounding communities through our regularly scheduled bi-weekly services, home Bible studies, correspondence courses, and benevolence. We meet on the biblical first day of the week (Saturday sunset to Sunday sunset, usually on Saturday evenings but occasionally on Sunday afternoons; Acts 20:7) to encourage each other, and to worship our God by the means He prescribes in the New Testament. We pray, sing, partake of the Lord's Supper, contribute funds to maintain God's work, and preach God's word. Each worship assembly is a time of reverence and respect for God our Father (Yahweh), His Son (Jesus Christ), and God as the Holy Spirit. Our fellowship times are scheduled so as not to conflict with any participant’s “home” congregational worship hour. We are a family, dedicated to the work and worship of our Lord Jesus Christ.
