Thank YOU to all who joined us today for class/worship/fellowship! Pastor Wilson spoke on IMPOSTER SYNDROME!

When God calls you OUT of your comfort zone and old identity, low self-worth, self-hatred, shame, guilt, into who He created you to be…it feels WEIRD!!!! You feel like an imposter!

Who are you to shine? Who are you to receive God’s love? Who are you to be forgiven and be LIGHT in the dark places?

You ARE God’s child!

God just asks us to receive HIS love and to take on the mind of Christ and then be about His business.

Will people talk about you? Yep. Will your friends and family not understand? Yep.

We wear so many masks to “cover” the real us so we can appease other people, our family, friends, boss, etc. BUT these masks may feel like protection but they keep God’s real you, out!

Under pressure the masks will crack. Then, we become tired and stressed because we keep trying to hold on to our masks instead of letting them break and letting our authentic selves (God made for God’s purpose) shine.

You are not alone! It feels scary to walk in His will and die to your masks. It is ok! God loves you!

In Christ, you are not an imposter. His will for you, is the real you! Let the masks go, walk with Jesus, and live IN HIS love and power. Amen!

Thank YOU to all who joined us today for an amazing Word brought by Pastor Wilson on “Pulling the Weeds! Tending the Garden of Our Minds’.

Weeds grow naturally, gardens don’t.

We talk about our minds are the garden. Just like God gave the Garden of Eden for Adam and Eve to tend, to pull the weeds, we must do so with thoughts in our mind.

God’s Word and promised to you ARE YOUR GARDEN.

The negative thoughts, anxieties, and fears are your weeds.

When you begin the plant your garden and tend to it (walk in faith), you will begin to see weeds (negative thoughts).

Don’t freak out! This is a normal part of the process!

Keep walking in God’s promises! Tend to the garden in your mind, the mind of Christ, the anointed.
