Thank YOU for joining us this Sunday for Youth Sunday! Youth Pastor Nehamiah brought the Word and the Youth performed a skit and sung!!
Nehamiah spoke on Humility. We have worth because God created us and gave each of us purpose and skills. Pride, arrogance, and insecurity come when we forget that God created us. He loves us DESPITE our worst days, our lowest moments, our shortcomings.
We receive it from God so grateful for His love and forgiveness given to us.
BUT, how we often forget to bestow this to others. We judge and condemn others but seek grace, understanding, patience, and forgiveness from God and others.
Humility in Christ keeps us grounded in His Word and His purpose for our lives.
Because we are grateful to God, we can show grace to ourselves and others.
As someone once said, humility doesn’t ask that we think less of ourselves, but think of ourselves less.
