Thank YOU to all who joined in on today’s Youth Takeover Sunday!!! Altadena UMC Youth Pastor Nehamiah brought a powerful Word centered on our vantage point.

When our vantage point or perspective changes, what we see and experience changes.

Pastor Nehamiah shared how when he was little he went to see the Lakers victory parade with his dad. Since he was little, all he could see was people pressing in on him, their shoes and legs. He couldn’t see the parade. Then, his father lifted him up on his shoulders. His vantage point changed!

From his father’s shoulders, he could see the parade and his favorite players. The crowd and noise were still there, but he experienced it differently because he was on his father’s shoulders.

So too is our faith. It often looks like God isn’t moving in your life, you feel forgotten, or things just don’t appear to make any sense.
But when you see things from God’s perspective, EVERYTHING changes! You can see how God has been orchestrating things all along.

As Scripture teaches us, focus on the things above and not on earthly things. Trust God because He has you, even when it doesn’t look like it. He will give you eyes to see and ears to hear.

Change your vantage point, change your life.💕
