This Sunday, July 12th, is our annual family picnic!
Join us with your family and friends for a fun day in the sun with good food and great company.
Sunday service will be held at 10AM instead of 11AM at St. Nicholas Church so you can join us at the Blackberry Farm picnic site at 12PM.

On Saturday, July 4th 2026, at the DLAW Parish Life Conference His Grace Bishop ANTHONY ordained St. Nicholas’ deacon John to the Priesthood. Father John served under the guidance of Fr. George Baalbaki at St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church of San Francisco, and was sponsored on his priesthood by Fr. George.

We love you Fr. George, and we love you Fr. John. May God grant you both many years, and may God protect our church, this diocese, and this archdiocese of many years!

On the Second day of PLC, our truly loves gave to Thee, 1 Bible bowl, & Two st. Nicholas teams!

On Thursday July 2nd the Diocese of Los Angeles and the West hosted its annual Parish Life Conference, followed by Bible Bowl on Friday July 3rd where two teams from St. Nicholas San Francisco participated in the pre-teen and adult divisions.

On July 4th, two Teens will represent St. Nicholas in the Oratorical festival!

In addition, our very own Deacon John will be ordained and received into the Holy Priesthood, by the laying of hands by His Grace, Bishop ANTHONY.

Also pictured, are the winners of the Creative Arts Festival from St. Nicholas church. In order,

David Azar, first place - eighth grade,
Zahra Batarse, first place - third grade,

This week, three of your Camp THY administrative staff traveled to in Pennsylvania for additional training and camp orientations.

Along the way, our staff met some familiar faces and got to participate in several activities including climbing Jacob’s Ladder!

Thank you so much for Khalil Samara, head of the Department of Camping Ministry and Antiochian Village for welcoming us into their homes! May the children, staff, clergy and volunteers of all our camps be granted many years!

We wish our 3 staff members safe travels tomorrow as they embark on a trip back home for one of them, while the other two head to the PLC in San Diego.
