Seventh Avenue Presbyterian Church Seventh Avenue Church is comprised of people from around the world and across the country, as well as those from down the block and around the Bay.

Located in the Inner Sunset District of San Francisco, we welcome people of all ages and families of all configurations and we passionately live the truth that all people of God are welcome. We are multicultural and multiethnic. Our fellowship represents the many faces of San Francisco. We are single and married, partnered and divorced. Kids are at home here as well as those who have lived decades

. We welcome people of all ages, and families of all configurations. We are a Eucharistic community of people who live as family, one with another. We are inclusive, and we passionately live the truth that all people of God are welcome regardless of gender, race, age, physical ability, sexual orientation or anything else that may divide others, without exception. At Seventh Avenue our unity is found not in our conformity, but in our diversity: we are church that works again. At Seventh Avenue there is no question that can’t be asked, so come and ask questions with us.

At Seventh Avenue Presbyterian Church - we are blessed to frequently host guest preachers. That means a variety of voices from the pulpit.

We had the pleasure of having Reverend Bruce Reyes-Chow at SAPC. Let me introduce Bruce - he is a speaker and writer on faith, culture, politics, race, technology, and pop-culture. He is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church, has led churches in the San Francisco Bay Area for nearly three decades, and is a former moderator of the PC(USA). Bruce hosts the podcast “BRC & Friends” and has authored five books, most recently “Everything about God is True: Choosing Faith.” A senior consultant and coach with Convergence, Bruce and his spouse have three adult children and live in South San Francisco.

At Seventh Avenue Presbyterian Church - we value diversity. One of the ways we demonstrate that is by incorporating a variety of voices at the pulpit.

Thank you Reverend Dr. Joanne Whitt for preaching last Sunday. This moving sermon can be found in our recorded sermons.

As an introduction - in 2019, Reverend Dr Joanne Whitt retired as a pastor / head of staff from First Presbyterian Church of San Anselmo. She an adjunct instructor of preaching at San Francisco Theological Seminary / University of Redlands. She publishes a nearly- weekly blog “Solvitur Ambulando,” most often discussing one of the lectionary biblical texts (which can be found at solve-by-walking.com/). She is a credentialed spiritual director working with people of various faith traditions. Prior to seminary, she was a trial lawyer for 15 years.

At SAPC - we love our music and take it seriously.

What a treat it was to have the esteemed Jonathan Dimmock perform at Seventh Avenue Presbyterian Church.

This event was a long time in the making - as it celebrated the restoration project of church organ. So many people contributed to the success of this event. We are blessed to hear this organ played every Sunday at 10 am. Check us out.
