Choose Better Over Bitter
Life’s trials can either make us bitter or make us better. Naomi said, “Call me Mara,” because her pain made her feel empty and afflicted. Yet even in suffering, God invites us to remain thankful and full of praise.
One pastor shared how his daughter lost a leg in a tragic accident. When asked how she was doing, she replied, “Dad, you taught me not to focus on what I lost, but to be thankful for what I still have.” What powerful faith and perspective.
Praise protects the heart from bitterness. Gratitude keeps the soul alive with hope, creativity, strength, and peace. Bitterness destroys, but thanksgiving restores.
Today, choose better over bitter.
“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1
Kingdom Declaration:
I choose better over bitter. In everything, I will give thanks, and His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
