Al-Sabeel Masjid Noor Al-Islam

Al-Sabeel Masjid Noor Al-Islam Alsabeel is a Masjid and community center founded in 2002 located in the heart of San Francisco.

When Alsabeel was founded activities and services were simply composed of the five daily prayer and Jumaa (Friday) Sermon before our gradual expansion. In the span of fifteen years our community grew and our activities developed to better serve the community. Today we offer services that include but are not limited to: Family community days, Quran reading circles, evening lectures, dinners, annua

l open houses, daily iftar (breaking fast) throughout the month of Ramadan and Eid festivities. Other activities are interfaith workshops in and outside of our vicinity, blood drives, summer school, educational Islamic work shops, chaplaincy training, and marital and family counseling. May Allah's mercy, peace, and blessings be upon him, was one of the prominent figures in Islamic work in Northern California – San Francisco . He was one of the founders of the earliest Islamic centers in San Francisco . He passed away and was buried today, Friday, April 19, 2024, at the Muslim cemetery in Hayward City.
